  3. I'm sure Donald Duck revels in the idea of thousands of people dying for him. No sarcasm intended.

Trump can have all the money he likes, but its votes he needs not dollars, each time he opens his mouth he loses some.

An odd thing with these people is their whole concept that they are the decent peaceful ones. They are the ones who like democracy and really just willing to agree to disagree and move on. Yet this is the opposite of what they are. Though gerrymandering, bullying, ignorance, just a general reluctance to ANYTHING to ever be not what they want they obstruct Democracy

My whole life anytime a Republican was in office Republicans would go on and on about how it's a time for peace, respect for the nation, and above all the president. Anytime it was a Democrat it's the time to buy guns and use your rights of free speech let that president know he is not your man and that you are ready to do anything necessary to protect America Freedom of opinion is really limited to Republican, white, and Christian. They see themselves as victims in some sort of cultural war that does not exist and the included the idea that their views on many things are the only ones worthy of rights. Anyone else will just misuse freedoms for their own gain and the exploitation of the whites who are willing to put in the work to make Democracy work.

I remember being a young kid and hearing right wing radio say that if impeachment of Clinton did not happen it was the time for guns then. The reason being that impeachment was the ultimate right of the people and a last resort to save America. If we are doing it there is a good reason. We have Clinton now, we know he's a liar and that he is immoral. We as Christian America do not support a man who does not honor his wife even if we don't like her and we can not trust a man who lies anyway. If we can't get Clinton he can become a dictator and nothing will stop him they said. If the last resort of the legal process can not hurt him the LAST resort of attacking the government's time has come. Lucky at the time several people called in and said that they were NRA members and this was crazy. Some called in to agree but I feel like it;s a little more one sided now, Yet they don't see the same argument they made then occurring now,,

These people are board with "hunting animals" with their Ar-15's they wish to use them for their real purpose. It's years of cultural indoctrination. Guns are good, guns help you, so tell bad people you have a gun, remind them you will use it. There is a tremulous ammmount of lust for war and bull shitting estimations among these militia people. This civil war fantasy is nothing new. It's been a standard part of militia thinking since the late 80's early 90's time period when the Soviets were not a threat anymore. Before the nukes will kill all the Democrats so only the real Americans fight on after. When there was no nuke they decided they were the ones to bring on the truet post Communism world. Democrats have been "communists" since the 60's to them.

Reminds me of how the Nazis must have felt. No one thinks they are the "bad guy". You just love your people. A sentiment expressed in the current American militarty and in the Nazis. Their thinking is essentially racism. It's no surprise Trumps views on white rights and gender roles have gotten the support that have from these mostly white militias. They like the leader who brings power to the strong in the animal world. Fuck all this nonsense of everyone being equal. We will live in a world where we don't feel shame for being born the right way and using our gifts and logical understanding of the world to help the weak. A intelligent strong person uses the tool of a gun to stop weak ideas like Communism especially when that weak person was too afraid of the tool to fight anyway.

Being raised by a democrat, I find all of this terribly amusing. Everything I've seen in this thread that's been attributed to Trump I've seen and heard from the mouth of democrats and their cronies. All of it. Not only from democrats in my own area, but also men who worked in our headquarters in Washington DC. This includes National-level union leadership and national politicians. All democrats, all too willing to justify anything to advance their common cause.

I find it interesting that our Constitution condemns democrats and democracy in general by failing to even mention either. It COMMANDS our federal government to guarantee to every state in this Union a REPUBLICAN form of government, and describes it in detail. A further Bill of Limitations was added to it to further limit federal power and it's tendency toward usurpations and excess. Nowhere does it commend or support political parties. Nowhere. In spite of this clear language and the supporting language and documents of the men who created and signed this document, here we are with a government and our so-called "representatives" and "public servants" that continues to disregard clear language, while going through all kinds of verbal gymnastics to support their twisted views and programs, all of which are unauthorized regardless of how well-meaning the authors of these bills and ideologies may be.

My opinion: If the Constitution doesn't clearly spell out a power or authority, the federal government violates their compact with the American citizens and jeapordizes war by continuing to force their pretended authority upon those citizens. I don't like it. I don't look forward to such things, as it can only result in massive loss of life and liberty for everyone. Perhaps that is the ultimate goal of both major parties, but in the end, both will face severe judgement for their disregard of our founding principles and the limitations placed upon them by said principles.

This topic continues to amaze me. And the lunacy and deceit of those on both sides claiming their own self-righteousness while blaming the other side for things they themselves have said and done is enough to make one gag.

  9. Trump isn't going to be thrown out of office, so I guess the civil war over that is kind of out the window.

Really it all depends upon how much the pseudo glory of a civil war appeals to Republicans. Obviously many of them are wearing tinfoil hats and convincing themselves things are really dire.

As President, Trump should not be inciting this scenario. We are not that far apart, not as far as he'd like. Not as far as he'd tear us apart to serve his own ends.

Both sides are behaving very childishly, which...Trump is also solely to blame for with his name calling. Yes, he has exposed that we're all very childish. So we grow up.

  10. I reckon he will be thrown out of office.
Look at Bill Clinton he was thrown out of office for being blamed for sexual realationship that never happened.
Regardless of what happens he won't be able to run for president again.

Clinton wasn't thrown out of office, though.

And the sexual relationship did happen - both parties have acknowledged it.
