Czechoslovakia went along with this. There are 196 nations who do not go along with it. A unilateral act by Trump does not make it United Nations accepted international law. When it comes to matters covering Israel, the USA has over 70 times used its Security Council Veto to backstab Arab and Muslim nations.

What next.!!!!!!!!!!! Trump will be telling us that London is the capital of England and everyone in Manchester will be protesting. Even the SNP will think that is is a bit 'fishy' and we will end up with a sturgeon and a few old salmon protesting about it

Actually the UN passed a resolution when Israel declared Jerusalem capital. It said they were in violation of international law

On the other hand there is such a thing as the Jerusalem Embassy Act which was voted for by congress and is an actual law.

    What a fucking mess.

I dunno but The Hague is the capital of England in the near future

It was (and still is) doable. Trump's statement is just stupid. It riles up people on both sides, mainly palestines though. The advantage of moving the american embassy to Jerusalem is not worth the disturbance this statement causes. Trump's ought to know this, unless his advisors on this subject are as incompetent as he makes himself sound. Probably not, so there is no excuse for this stupidity.

Trump is stupid. And please nobody be telling that he listens to any advisors.

Does anybody remember that idiot Terry Jones? The guy who wanted to burn a bunch of qurans? People started protesting halfway around the world and some of them got killed.
And that was about a nutjob.

Congrats on making yourself sound at least as stupid as Trump. That's quite an accomplishment. Who's 'us' in this regard?

I wasn't too serious either. But everybody knows that the real rivalry is between Manchester and Liverpool.

  15. After watching mounted Israeli pólice officers and armed to the teeth soldiers on the streets of Jerusalem yesterday I do not want to think of the posible outcome of the Trumped up ****´s latest foray into world politics. It will be back to stones against plastic bullets and tear gas no doubt!!!

funny that manchester and liverpool are mentioned

i was just thinking how ridiculous it would be if fan riots and assaults in the parking lots would be blamed on the teams ...i mean its the teams fault for either losing or winning and causing the riots in the first place right?

I think the geopolitics of Israel and Palestine are a bit more complex than a sports game

Even my old lady dummyhead southern ass knows that ignorant comb-over dunderhead is in WAY over his head when he goes sticking his nose in Israel and the politics over there. He just may get his most stupid head cut off if he keeps sticking it in over there where the whole area is a powder keg just waiting to go off.

On second thought...I hope he DOES just keep right on being the idiot he is proving to be.

It's "poking the bear" as the expression goes. On the surface it's easy to say well there are tensions in the region anyway so who cars if they are upset. This only makes it worse because people do not think rationally when it comes to religion. You have two groups who have been willing to die over a small piece of land for centuries. Each side is looking for any excuse to get rid of the other. Any leader who truly wanted to stop terrorism would understand this. The pen is mightier then the sword. Treaties and cultural change kill more terrorism then a SEAL team.

The smart thing is to play their game and keep giving them time. I admit I am very skeptical any amount of time will ever be enough in my lifetime. But at least as it was a few weeks ago there was less chance of a "holy war" ISIS nuke. The change in that region must come from within. It will never work if an outside country makes it happen regardless if that country supported Jews or Muslims. Each one has a real claim to the land to be honest.

Trump just does not like Muslims and this is his way of trolling them. It's petty when compared to the risk it causes the globe. There is a reason why basically every country on the planet is not OK with this. But like so many things with the president since America is special so the fact that it annoys Europe must be good. The world stage is a not a reality show where you get your kicks having power trips.

Do you know how many of the USSR"s nukes were sold on the black market in the 90's? Most of them because money talks and Soviet people with security clearance did not give a fuck anymore they had families to feed and there is no home land to be loyal to. And the Middle East is not that far away from a Russian border.

Jews and Christians are both now at a serious risk. As well as the majority of Muslims who are humans and kind. The kind of people who have and continue to help Jews and Christians in need. The Muslims believe in Jesus yet the Jews do not. It's just to the Muslim Mohamed is the main prophet but Jesus is known as an important man of god to them. Nothing against the Jews but Islam is more Christian just by that acknowledgement of one man, Jesus is literally everything to the Christian. So how can a "Christian nation" like America be so cruel to them? Christianity has forgiven the Jew for their view that they killed Jesus (they didn't) yet they do not forgive the Muslim for thinking Jesus was only a little special.
