[ Not really. Clinton's morality was shabby, but that's not quite the same thing. Obama's character can stand up to any Tea Party smear efforts, and he upheld the dignity of the office. Who was out of office eight years by the time it happened. Sure
Trump won??? He's been impeached by the House of Representatives in the United States of America! That's really really bad!
Umm, he was impeached, and he will live with that the rest of his life. That is not winning. If every president wanted to be known as a "winner" they would do something to be impeached. Your comment makes no sense.
That started today. Trump just fired Lt. Col. Vindman today and had him escorted out of the White House right after the man said he was going to retire. And if that's not good enough, Trump fired the man's twin brother who was also working at the White House.
Same guy just another form of retaliation by Nixon. He did have the IRS do an audit to harass him. Trump just fired Vindman and his twin brother too, just to drive the point home.
I really don’t think so. Lobbyists had been trying to have this deregulated since 1989, with no success, until Clinton admin did it,
Nancy said the same thing, wasting her breath. A guy who has lost in court as often as Trump sees this for what it is, a bump in the road. They were never going to let him into their idea of polite society anyway. So he's losing nothing here. I guarantee you he's not crying into his pillow about impeachment. So give it up, leftists suck at applying "morals" onto anyone. But I admit it's really effective when they yell "shame shame shame" at republicans. (naaa, it's not, it's hilariously funny because nobody listens to democrats or leftists when they invoke God, Christ or anything to do with morals).
No it isn't, it's a useless waste of time. It didn't hurt Clinton, it won't phase Trump either. They should have waited for his second term to pull this, they'd have had more to go on (maybe even some real stuff).
It didn't??? I remember being not afraid but truly embarrassed when that happened. Being a lifelong democrat - my parents have always voted democrat, and I was 18 in December 1998; turned 19 in February '99 - I was mortified! I didn't recover my political wherewithal for multiple presidencies! If it didn't hurt Clinton, it certainly effected his voters; perhaps in good ways as well as the negative. I think that Trump voters are standing tough, but they must know what he's doing is beyond simply incorrect. It's out and out blatant and abusive in many ways. We can have a friendly disagreement about that. It's ok to disagree. It may feel like wasted time because he wasn't removed, but at least now people know beyond the shadow of a doubt what happened. If they don't already get it the Bolton testimony (which he's refused in affidavit form... doh!) will likely clear some things up; despite the fact that some people will say he is lying.
I believe I read in my history books that in 1995 the Republicans took over both houses of Congress in the so-called "Republican Revolution". I think that situation continued through 2008. Republican Ayn Rand disciple Alan Greenspan was Fed chair at the same time until 2006, when he was succeeded by Republican Ben Bernanke. Republicans held a majority on the Fed during this time. The Secretaries of the Treasury under G.W., all Republicans, were Donald Evans and Hank Paulson, both good Republicans. Tell me again how the 2008 recession was Clinton's fault.
There's a Wikipedia page about government policies and the subprime crisis; though I didn't read it yet and don't know if Clinton was behind some policy in the housing bubble or the way securities were traded/pooled/grouped. Maybe he signed something?
And so was his twin brother and a little later Sondland was fired. Trump does not like people who speak the truth. Just ask Michael Cohen.
So, like all other politicians ever, then. All in for the gravy train. At least with Trump he can't be bought out as he's already a billionaire.
Then there shouldn't be any issues at all. Let's see the tax returns, and the bank documents. Congress will be thrilled if he releases them before the Supreme Court rules on it in March. He sure has spent a lot of money trying to keep things hidden. Then there is all that cash which Qatar, and Saudi Arabia loaned to him. Additionally, there is all that cash which Lev Parnas funneled to him. I think lots of people have been buying Trump services. Maybe Putin can come and testify in Congress?
You're attacking him personally, via taxes. Successful business people do not become extremely rich because of fairness. They become rich from making other people poorer - that is capitalism. One day the poor and working classes will revolt, and all this political correctness BS will come to an end. That all this so-called racist xenophobic bigoted absolute utter BS will mean nothing in the long run that'll cause us all ending up talking normally again - before politicians took the piss.
