That's the beauty of America, you don't go to court to prove a "not". Just as you can't vote negative, as in against someone, only for. I don't like McConnell, but he's a very skilled lawmaker and he's very careful about the shit he steps in. He's the epitome of Washington's aversion to rapid decisions. He runs more interference than Obama's entire administration.

Not at all. I was for Bernie, then I saw him take a dive. There was no way I was going to vote for the Clintons. Luckily, I had a non-establishment choice, though less than ideal.

Which is the same reason I voted for Obama the first time, there was no way I'd vote in McCain. And Obama was too new to be totally corrupted by the establishment. Heck, he was barely wealthy when he decided to run. In Washington you qualify for disabled parking if you make less than 7 figures.

 

So? That's just you. Do you really wanna argue that a lot of people who voted, didn't do so primarily from keeping the other candidate out. That is voting against. Just because you can't literally vote against someone, doesn't mean you can use your vote like that. And it has been done massively.

yeah, the whole idea of the current two party system is that you can only vote against someone. 98% of political arguments i've seen in my life basically consist of "vote for this person so the other guy doesn't get elected."

 

I would be nice if McConnel stops holding bills and resolution as he had in the last five years. I understand that Trump is now going to invoke Executive Privilege over Bolton. That would make a large number of witnesses even larger. What do you suppose he is hiding? Why is Trump afraid of the American people knowing what took place? Robert Mueller was prevented from investigating Trump's criminal activity by William Barr, who was out to protect Trump. William Barr prevented Mueller from investigating the Deutsche Bank money trail. Several key witnesses were prevented from testifying in the House inquiry, including that Maghan lawyer. Now Bolton will be prevented even though he announced that he is willing to testify. What is the Trump team hiding?

Something occurred to me. In 2011 Obama had Osama bin Laden killed and he got re-elected. Now Trump has General Soleimani killed, is he thinking what worked for Obama will work for him?

Nobody with a brain is saying the bringing down of that plane is primarily the US's fault, but its fair to state the US have created the circumstances for such a retaliation action to happen. And they did it consciously. They were very aware Iran would feel forced to answer to this retarded action of killing Soleimani.
I also think you are either underestimating the training of iranian forces or like to put it as if they're a bunch of badly trained hoodlums.

 

Except most Americans never heard of Soleimani before he got whacked.
