I have never been able to reach an orgasm through any possible way. Not through masturbation, oral stimulation, sex, anal sex. Occasionally I will come close. I will start to feel a good feeling and then a slight tingling sensation in my thighs but it only lasts a second or two and then my clit becomes EXTREMELY painful to be touched after. I've considered that maybe that is what an orgasm is. A very slight and very brief tingling sensation. But there's no muscle tension before or muscle release after. It's no where near like it is when my boyfriend has an orgasm. And from what I've read the female orgasm is both longer and more sensational then the male orgasm. What exactly is going on with me? And why does it hurt after I start to get the beginnings of what might be an orgasm?

Have you suffered any injuries to your pelvic region? Nerves are funny things. Maybe you need more lube? Try Nutella,

No pelvic injuries. My clit's just always been pretty sensitive.

Perhaps there was some damage that never healed right during your first time or some point where there was a larger than normal insertion leading to tearing, maybe let your Gyno have a peek?

When I orgasm, I don't feel a muscle tightness or release afterwords, I just shake a bit. Afterwords, my clit is EXTREMELY sensitive and can't be touched for upwards of ten minutes, probably an effect of the fact that I can only have clitoral orgasms. You might just be having weak orgasms.. either way if you're like me your clit will be extremely sensitive. You can try watching/reading porn, using sex toys or vibrators and mix it up. Some things will make you produce a stronger orgasm than just lying there fingering your self, lets say.

You're not by chance on an SSRI type antidepresant? They often muck op orgasms.
