Has anyone ever heard of this term referring to tripping and rolling? Everyone online says candy flipping or whatever type of flipping, but all my friends and everyone I've ever talked to about it irl calls it trolling. Idk if its just a local thing or what. I always liked the term, it seems like it makes a good deal of sense, good wordplay. So anyone else use this term?
Maybe amongst your generation you are making your own stuff up. The term candy flip and hippy flip have been around for quite a while. I have never heard of "trolling" except for people who are trying to stir shit up. And when the thing that lives under the bridge is gobbling people up... Trolling sounds ugly... Who the fuck wants to troll? I would much rather candy flip. You guys need to concentrate on making terms for these new drugs instead. Don't fix what isn't broken. Make a name for DPT, or a name for when you mix meow with woof (maybe catdog?)......
I'm aware of the more widespread use, I've just always heard it referring to tripping/rolling as well. I was surprised to find out that it's not used anywhere else.
i think the whole flipping names are just stupid. I'm not from the US so maybe i don't get it but out here if we mix mushrooms and acid we say we mixed fucking mushrooms with acid! oooh i mixed ketamine with meow i kattymeow flipped.

It's a New Orleans & Metairie thing from the 80's. It also used to be called an MX Missile back then too, but I haven't heard that one in a long time. I've never heard anyone that's not from the area use those terms.
That's pretty cool to know actually. I thought it might just be in my circle of friends but I find it pretty cool that it's on a wider local level. Thanks for the info.
As for meow meow in the UK no one calls it meow meow!! only the newspapers and maybe a couple of absolute tards. honestly the amount of discussions i've heard of people laughing that people think it's called meow meow is ridiculous. m cat, meow meow. naah people say mephe or drone or mephedrone i like to call it droneage.
Hey! PARTS of the UK named it Meow Meow... I think it's fucking retarded It's known as bubble(don't get that one either) or drone around here. We don't call rolling "rolling" either, just "wired" or "loved". I got confused when I first came to Hip and everyone was talking about rolling spliffs with MDMA..
These two statements seem contradictory to me. If you believe that calling something a name is stupid, why would you like to call something a name? Seems hypocritical to me.
