Does anyone have any suggestions for good action oriented animes to watch while on a psychedelic? Obviously colorful ones, but I don't really know of any more. Seen: Spirited Away Howl's Akira Nausicaa Mononoke Ghost In The Shell Fist of The North Star Waking Life Animatrix and probably more that I can't think of right now.
Hmm, no one replied so far...? Well, if you wish to listen to some music with that trippy anime, I'd recommend Inter5tella 5555. Essentially, it's a music video about an hour long to the music of Daft Punk (In case you ever wondered what happened after the video to Daft Punk's One More Time... this movie has the whole story to it). And for mind-boggling things, how about .hack//SIGN? It deals with people interacting in a future MMORPG, and suddenly discovering a strange character... strange in the respect that he cannot log out of the game and lives in it... OK, that's a whole series, but fun to watch. That series can be downloaded in an English-dubbed version on veoh.com - a nice free download portal for quite some anime... Samurai Champloo is cute, too... especially the fight scenes are fun when watched loaded - although the hip-hop music is kind of disturbing at first. However, in the course of the series, it strangely befits the characters... Talking about music, perhaps you're more into listening to jazz, funk and blues while watching some fun anime? Cowboy Bebop is the answer (it even has one episode dealing with shrooms!!! Hilarious!!). And, of course, one series just has to be added to this little list: Earth Girl Arjuna - trippy pictures as well as a very nice and true Save The Earth message to it... together with some references to the Vedes...
