I've tripped something like 10 times in two months. Not ten consecutive days but through out the two months. Am I tripping too much? How much time would you recoomend spaced between each trip? Should I stop tripping for a little while?
Most people don't like to trip more then once every six omnths or so. I guess it's fine for you as long as you don't start losing it.
Yeah. For most people if they start taking it more often then that they start to lose touch with reallity. In my case it caused my panic attacks. Oh well sometimes trippin comes at a proce.
I only take LSD 2 to 5 times per year give or take... I heard people who use it a lot eventually loose interest in it. I hope this goes well for you... Also the flashbacks...
Well 10 times in 2 months I think is a bit much, but most people who have access trip more then once every 6 months
some people have more trouble with it than others. 10 times in 2 months sounds ok if its your lifetime peak, but dont continue at that pace for too long if you're taking heavy doses.
Escape from reality, or just having fun? You should try to use it more for knowledge. It'll be a whole lot more rewarding, and it can still be fun.
It's not as simple to gain knowledge from a trip as it seems; you can't just put some in your mouth and expect to come out on top. 10 times in two months may sound like a lot to some people, though I myself have tripped shrooms 5 times in a week and a half. Given access, I would do the same, and that's why I've quit trippin for now. The reason that most people only trip a few times a year is that it can take that long for everything to really sink in. I'm two weeks out of a ten strip, and I still find myself pausing in the middle of a sentence to think a thought that had basis in that experience. Two weeks later and I'm still thinking the way I did while I was peaking. Acid sticks with you, but not flashbacks. Whoever tells you "watch out you don't eat too much, flashbacks remember" is a fool. You could run into HPPD, which can be difficult to deal with, or you could have flashes where something appears as it did while you were trippin, but they're nothing more than that - that's why they're called "flash"backs. Case in point - after my last trip, while takin my history exam, I looked a kid sitting in front of me and noticed that his jacket looked shiney, more than normal. It was the way the light was catchin the material, and it made me think "gee, shit looked like that while I was trippin the other day. hmm, slavery..." and the flashback was over. Reassess your life man, someone else could be putting that LSD to good use. I have a feeling that if you continue using because it's fun, you're going to run into a very bad situation.
I know it's not that simple blah, blah. Though it's better to be in the pursuit of knowledge from something than to not be...
Neuronaut, everyone has their own experiences so you can't really tell someone that flashbacks won't be a problem. They were for me for a good few weeks, and I had some really quite scary moments, not being able to get to sleep at night, waking up from nightmares etc. It's all gone now luckily but it took a good few months.
everyone automaticaly assumed that because I said I dosed that much because I love trippin that I meant I wasn't learning from my experiences..... Just because i consider it fun and its something I really enjoy more than most other drugs doesnt mean that I didnt learn. The learning is waht makes it so fun. To be able to interpret things so differently and seemingly just suprisingly is why I have such a blast.
you can eat acid every day for the rest of your life if you want no one can tell you how much too trip only you can. Thats what its about freedom if you want to trip only one time in your life so be it only you can decide.
I think you can probably trip this much and be safe, it depends on the dosage though. But most people find that the more you wait, the more rewarding the experience is. LSD very quickly loses its magic if you do it every week or so. First most people need much more time between trips to allow the tolerance to go away, and futhermore i'd say that you can't progress, learn things out of nothing. Plus one week isn't nearly enough to process what you learn in a full blown trip, it generally takes a few weeks at least... But i suppose we've all been there, it's really tempting when you have the supply... However i find that the "the more you wait, the more rewarding it is" rule of thumb is something to keep in mind... Your trips will be much more powerful, you'll be much more happy to take it because you know you've had to resist a long time but now is the moment, and it keeps you on the safe side with the side effects (which, by the way don't always manifest themselves the day after the trip. Lot of people realize they have the HPPD thing a few week, or monthes after a big binge...)
I understand that, and I had some of the same shit to deal with as you did around this time last year, what I meant was that you're never going to be driving down the road and suddenly crash your car because you thought there was a turn when there wasn't. I wouldn't call that a flashback though, more of lingering issues, maybe some short term mental damage (maybe something like HPPD). It's not as if you're suddenly thrown back into the depths of a trip and you're incapacitated.
This is actually exactly how it was for me on several occasions, even though it was only for a second or two each time. I couldn't imagine having any sort of accident as a result, because the flashbacks only happened when I was in a situation that reminded me vividly of the trip itself (I had one standing waiting in a line outside a club, one standing outside a club at the end of the night - a different night that is - several while actually dancing at a party, and a few minor ones in similar situations), but it is feasible say, if I had been riding in the passenger seat of a car during the trip. It's all very unlikely though, really. Almost all of these flashbacks happened under the influence of other drugs, ie weed or ecstacy. Only a couple, and mostly minor ones, happened while I was completely sobre. It's also important to note that I had been candy flipping on the night that the flashbacks came from, so the mdma could have been partially responsible.
After you take psychedelics you realize that whatever talents you have are rediculously enhanced, its for art and music man, I have been wanting to trip after eating 2g mush then 2 days later a bunch more but instead I just draw and I am creating amazing things man! You gotta try it. Not only is it fun, rewarding, but art and music are kinda shitty nowadays so you can put alot of non-trippers to shame lol. ive been using it as a "creativity hack" which works well since I'm extremely logical. Just lay off the psyches for a while, I have tripped probly 12 times this year and I think that is too much lol. I've only done acid 5 times total though, mainly mushrooms
