Tripping Alone

What a random night. Didn't expect to be tripping alone. I guess it allows you to you find a deeper meaning in things. Anyone ever do this?

I'm not taking that risk. A bad trip while being alone could turn out potentially bad.

 

I freak out when i'm around people tripping so i prefer to do it alone. I can't even smoke weed with other people around without having a panic attack.

 

I've never tried it. Always afraid I would get bored.

 

it was amazing! I got to really think about interesting things. I also painted a picture of rainbow bubbles with water paints. I traveled down to a wharehouse by the university I go to. There was a swing inside. I sat there for hours swinging back and forth. I thought I was flying..lol...I really like tripping alone.

 

I never had a bad trip before, but I had intense trips. I never consider an acid trip "bad." You learn so much from every experience. I've seen other people have "bad experiences" though, so I guess it's very subjective.

 

I love tripping alone, just like I love tripping with people.

Last time I tripped alone I had lots of amazing experiences. I wrote a lot of amazing instrumental music, drew some lovely pictures, and then rode my bike around town zonked out of my head and stopped to talk to every person I saw on the street. It was an amazing experience.

 

that sounds amazing! i love venturing through the wharehouse district in the city. I found one of those pully elevators. I try to avoid people though.

The majority of my experiences are alone.

On higher doses your lack of ability to allow complete ego death does hamper the total effect. To let go and allow ego death could be slighty dangerous due to set, setting and possible unexpected outside stimuli.

If you allow the trek to be more internalized than external the regression (if that happens to be your goal) may go deeper and release some interesting insight or let the naughty genie out of the bottle. If you take the external route art and creativity seem to be greater when alone too, from my experience.

I usually trip alone, so I don't much basis for comparison. I've dropped acid around my girlfriend before, but she only came over after I peaked, and I didn't tell her what I had taken.

I don't like going outside alone when I am tripping. I always picture myself getting into some kind of trouble.

I always trip alone mostly on psychedlics. Because it's always more of an introspective experience then anything else.

It depends on the person though.

 

tripping with your best friend is the best IMO, but tripping alone is also fun. never had a bad experience on acid, just intense ones.

 

i find that when i tripped i had to spend at least some time alone, i always had the most profound experiences that way, but it was always nice to have someone to talk to about those experiences while coming down. it depends on ypur experience level, i wouldn't recommend it unless you've tripped a few times before and know what to expect

 

It's alright if you can maintain, if you know what to expect, I personally have done it alone 3 times and it was amazing each and everytime.

 

last time i tripped it was alone. i took 4.5 doses of shrooms and did whatever the fuck i wanted for about 10 hours. i had a long conversation with my dad, which was badass, but most of the trip was spent inside my head. in all the times i tripped before that, i never gained as much insight as the time i spent tripping alone. i like having other tripping people with me because you feed off of eachothers energy, but tripping alone was definitely insane. driving alone while tripping was even crazier. everything was zooming in on me at first, then i forgot about the road and could only think about the stuff i was passing and how it related to the world at large. kinda wacky, very shroomy... part that sucked was when i finally drove out to my boyfriends, i was ridiculously excited about everything and he just wanted to chill. but if youre an experienced tripper i highly recommend it as long as you know you can handle your shit and not freak out..

 

Don't trip alone unless you're experiened. Trust me. Trip with a friend, a loved one.

 

dude this is absolutely insane. This is my first time, and i'm alone. I'm perfectly cool dude. It's just awesome. I chillin here in my chair, listening to Funkadelic, and writing to you guys about how great this is! I curious as to where i am though, as far as phases. I feel really, reeeaaallly, high right now. But i haven't hallucinated anything besides some "bugs" on the ceiling. You know, the best adivice i can give is to say that right now, i'm tripping, but i know that i am, so it is fine. As long as you research your stuff and get as many opinions as you can or need you will be FINE! It's all about KNOWING its a drug that frees your mind, and to let it do what it's gonna do. This probably sounds like the most insane thing ever but i really mean it. The only thing i regret about this is not having someone to talk to! I've had basically no bad experiences happen to me (other than this light thing when i tried to go to sleep... like i would look around and it would suddenly get darker? and then immediately go back to normal.), and i mean, i don't think any bad things are going to happen. IT's just... the world is too cool of a place to dwell on that bad stuff man. just know IT'LL TURN AROUND! Isn't that what life is about anyway? just knowing that it'll come around again? You just gotta wait your turn brotha.
