hey guys. a question jus popped in my head. when people say to "wait til 50-75% of the trichs turn amber" before choppinh or whatever the specific ratio might be, how do u judge that. i mean, if ur looking thru a lil handheld microscope and u have some trichs in view, does that statement mean that when 50-75% of the visible trichs in the scope turn to harvest, or does it mean for the whole plant or what..? im jus confused because if the trichs in the scopes view are all amber, does that mean that the rest of the plant's trichs are amber also? or is it for each bud...or what? or maybe the amber/clear trich ratio is the same all over the plant...? i hope my question makes sense lol, i tried to explain it the best i can, ask me to clarigy more if need be. thanks

Each bud is judged seperately because different parts of the plant can mature at a different rate. So different buds on the same plant can show different ratios of trichome color. It's like a rosebush; you pick each blossem, individually, when you think it is just right. You can harvest your buds one branch at a time when you think they are ready.

Big time growers can't be this picky, they take the whole plant at once regardless.
