Fuck yeah. I'm just checking out some rare albums from the 80's today, I found a load of torrents on btjunk for rare 80's albums and there's fucking tons of them! Some of them are really cool, like this one. Sounds like David Bowie singing, but the electroid synth sounds are just brilliant. If you don't find yourself dancing a away to this music then you are not human.

This and their other album "Landing" were recorded 4 buildings away from my apartment! Right on Main St, and the records (at least one of them) were pressed at a (now defunct?) plant in the next town over. I have to say I'm pretty impressed to see a thread on hipforums about this band because they are highly obscure and generally only known to obsessive fans of early italo and synthpop.

Anyway, I came across a pile of these lp's at an antique store in town, there were at least 5 copies of Landing and 1 of this self titled, all of them individually still sealed. I bought a copy of each for something like $15 and got home and saw that they sell for between $50 - $75 a piece on average. Then I looked on the back of the sleeve and on the vinyl's label and had one of the biggest shocks in my crate digging life to date, lol. Seriously, this town has had a few notables but when it comes to music, the only scene we've had to get any notice is the hardcore one, and that only in the past 20 years. These albums are from 1980 and 1981 and went nowhere until only the past few years when someone over at the mutantsounds blog got ahold of a copy and posted them up. Anyway, I found that one of them (the singer, I think?) is a teacher at the local university, the other who programmed the synths and drum machines, guitar &c I'm not sure where he is. Great find, shame that this thread hasen't received any replies until now because these are simply amazing!!
