so whats everyones favorite tree or trees?!?! I personally prefer any kind of willow simply for the shade factor ..... whats yours?
Dude, Oak trees rock, I mean....they are sooooo cool. There used to be a famous one in my area. It was rumoured that the lord of the area in the 17-somethings was killed by his wife for coming home drunk under that tree, and her sprit still haunts that very tree.... The tree was struck by lightning in 1999, so it's dead, But it's still there.
I love the conifers here on the beach, I planted a live Noble fir xmas tree a few years back and its triple the height now. The red berried Holly tree is awesome. So is the Crabapple tree still dropping little tiny crabapples. Los of willow and alder here too. I saw the little pine cones off the sugar pines that you can almost watch them grow, they get taller so quick.
Yew trees are the greatest. Plus, if you sit under them for long enough, the leaves contain a natural hallucinogenic so you start to see things Any kind of really old tree I love as well - oaks, maples, sycamores etc.
i like birch trees, they're really pretty. and they get sooo big. but i love maples too because when i was younger, i lived at my great grampies house and he hafd some super old maple tree's there and they were excellent for climbing and i love climbing trees soooo much!
willows are perty. being in cali i like redwoods because they're so tall. i also liek live oaks...palm trees are exotic. i'll say redwoods...for now
i always hear about these redwoods but never seen em!!! is it true they have roads going through em??
I love all trees, but rowan are really pretty, white flowers in the spring, red/orange berries in the fall.
I'm about to smoke my favorite tree. haha, kidding my favorite is weeping willows. because there was a field directly in front of my neighborhood in england, and it had weeping willows in it, and some of my fondest memories are of walking my dog in that field and he would always love to play under the weeping willows And also, I think they are beautiful trees.
I like those trees with the lilac flowers all over them. Perhaps there called Lilac trees. I also like those gothic looking trees like you see in Mississippi, they look all swamp like and have no leaves. I would have to say that my ultimate favorite tree is a douglas fir covered in snow.
Of all the fruit trees I like lime and lemon the best because they have that crisp citrus smell come off when the fruit is hangin.
Oh yeah, I like a lot of trees but I have a thing for willows too. Epecially weeping willows. I also like poplars very much, there's a very large one in a field near my home. When I looked for the english translation for poplar on wikipedia I saw that they're family of the willowtrees, so seems like a logic choice
