Train Spotting

Anyone seen this movie?

I'm sort of lazy when it comes to watching movies, but my friend keeps raving about the film.

Should I bother XD?

 

It's pretty good. I loved it when I was younger and in a different state of mind.

 

Wasn't it by the same guy who did Slumdog Millionaire?
Is it better or worse than Slumdog?

Trainspotting is a pretty good movie.. It's trippy and fucked up at some parts.
Spun is sorta the same kinda movie, and is way better. I reccomend that.

 

How about Requiem For a Dream?
Never heard-a Spun.

 

yeah its pretty awesome. and the ending is nice. i like the gloom and the oddball factor

oh and maybe check out the movie My Own Private Idaho. it's very similar but gay.

 

Spun kinda sucked.

Requiem For a Dream is a really shitty movie with a great soundtrack and the best ending of pretty much any movie ever made.

 

That is how I felt about Inglorious Basterds, sorta.

 

I looved the soundtrack for Requiem for a Dream.. I thought it was a pretty good movie.

What IS a good movie?

 

I might. I hate watching movies unless I feel like they are really worth my time.
Nothing worse than wasting two hours of your life. Like that time my friend made me watch "Step Up."

Everyone loves "Fight Club", but I've never seen it. Wonder if that is worth seeing. I should have just made this a movie recommendation thread.

It's a fun watch. I just thought it tried to hard to be arty and profound, whereas Trainspotting just kicks ass on all fronts as a movie. The book is great too.
