was really yum, very traditional but really nice!
    :)
    1 medium brown onion, chopped.
as much garlic as you can handle!! (or a teaspoon according to this recipe)
    3 tablespoon olive oil
    1 stick celery, chopped.
    1 medium carrot, chopped.
a butternut pumpkin, peeled and chopped.
    1 large potato, chopped.
    a large sweet potato, chopped.
    2 litres of vege stck.
    sea salt and pepper
    sour cream
    chives
    bread

chop everything up. Fry the onion and the garlic in the olive oil till they are translucent...then throw everything else in the pot and bring to the boil. Simmer for thirty minutes then blend it all till it is smooth and creamy. Put it back on the stove, get it hot again then serve with dollops of sour cream, a sprinkling of chives and bread and butter....YUM!!
    :D
