1. David Gilmour Pink Floyd is awesome. Gilmour's soloing skills are just astounding 2. Tony Iommi this man's music made me pickup the guitar. he is known as the master of riffs but he has played some beautiful solos too 3. Syd Barrett (R.I.P.) like i said pink floyd is awesome and there would not be any Floyd without Syd. his music and his way of playing has really inspired me. 4. Jorma Kaukonen Jorma is a great blues guitarist. I first discovered him thru Jefferson Airplane, but Hot Tuna is pretty awesome too. and 5. Pete Townshend or Paul Kantner or George Harrison or Prince or Dave Navarro or... I cant choose just five!!!!! There are just too many great guitarists out there to choose. JOn
