Hi everyone, i'm new to all this, hope this works! I'm well into my films especially cult films. Just interested in Your Top 5 cult films ever! So have a good think about it, I know it's hard, there's some amazing films out there! I'll get us started... 1. The Big Lebowski- such a funny and quotable film, my favourite film ever! 2. Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas- Depp and Del Toro work so well together, i love the scene where there at the Circus Bar on the roundabout 3. Blow- Depp again is amazing in the lead role, and the soundtrack is brilliant 4. Dazed and Confused- Brings back memories of high school, I love Ben Afflecks character-"Y'all here this little fuckers mom pulled a shotgun on me this afternoon? Fuckin bitch" 5. Fight Club- this film was amazing when it first came out, i've seen it loads since then and still love it.
1. Mallrats - i am obsessed with this film 2. Rocky Horror 3. Donnie Darko 4. Fear and Loathing 5. Blow
I don't know if I can do a Top 5 list, but I do know Rocky Horror Picture Show would be number 1 on my list. Its incredible. Oh, and somewhere in there would probably be Hedwig and the Angry Inch. A cult classic.
in no particular order.... rocky horror picture show, shocktreatment, hedwig and the angry inch, donnie darko, clerks
1. Kes 2. The End of Evangelion 3. Motorcycle Diaries 4. He died with a felafel in his hand 5. Palindromes because I just saw it and loved it (but for how long?) I have donnie darko, trainspotting, fight club and the like, they're cool....but they get old...there are better and more unique films
don't know the order but these are some of them: meet the feebles, rocky horror picture show, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, brain dead, spaceballs.. and so many others
If they made a film about charles manson's "family", i would vote that as the number one cult film of all time...lol... as it stands i know none peace and love
There was a really famous manson film in the 70s of which I don't know the title and quite a good one a few years ago called "the manson family" I just got the pun he he
Blow Heavy Metal Dazed and Confused Groove Detroit Rock City Empire Records I know thats six....oh well, also anything created by kevin smith is fucking hilarious. They're the only movies where Ben Afleck is a funny/entertaining actor in my opinion...(anyone see Daredevil?)
I've never heard "Blow", concidered a "cult" classic video. I've always seen it in the Drama section. -Dawn of the Dead (most ambitious survivalist flick I've ever seen) -Scanners (cronenburg = genius) -Ichi the Killer (miike is wicked sick) -Susperia (high horror art, when I'm up to it) -Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me (haven't seen the full series yet but is bizarre even by Lynch standards, there are some truely nightmarish scenes inside) not to mention midnight cowboy, CHUDDDDDDDDDDDDD!!! people. oh the list is endless.
