Too many threads about this band. Tool have a few decent tunes, and a few more shitty ones. I don't see what people like so much about them. I detest how they have so many sound-alike mid-tempo songs.

I don't like them at all. I can respect their musicianship, but can't stand the music they play.

Who cares how many threads there are, TOOL owns. They kick ass. And no I won't be going cuz the assholes never schedule dates in Seattle, and when they do they sell out fucking fast.

 

No band with a vocalist that sounds like Staind owns. lol.

but any way, i get to see tool on 6/23. it's going to be great.

 

woah woah woah....hey you dissers have you heard their new cd.....you shouldnt be hatin on that shit because it is amazing. i never liked tool untill i heard their new stuff. They are really great musicians and they are awesome live. you haters probably just dont know what good music is then...

I've heard their new cd, sure, its amazing that they can recycle the same riffs this many times and not be called out on it. Every song falls into the same mid to slow tempo feel and tired bassline.

Like I said before, they're alright, a few decent songs.. but far from great.
They might be great for people with sleeping disorders though, I'm sure one album could knock a person into deep sleep.

 

well it looks like all you listen to is heavy metal....it doesnt look like you open to very much other music anyway
