So like its cold outside and you dress appropriately but when you go into a store it's hot as fuck in there and you can't really take off certain items of clothing cuz you have nowhere to really put them. It's like a constant battle between bein hot and cold...it's too damn cold out here so you step into that store and then get hot as shit and can't wait till you can get out of there cuz it feels good out there compared but when you get out there you get cold again.

Also my radiators only have two speeds...HOT AS FUCK, and no heat. But it is possible to maintain a comfortable temperature. You can leave the radiator valve open as long as you have some windows open or it will get way too hot. You can try just opening it when you need heat and turning it off when it gets comfortable but sometimes if you do this it will have been closed when Mr. Boiler decided you needed some heat and if you try to open it after that nothing will happen because it already gave you enough steam to make it as hot as an oven and probably won't give you any more for a couple hours.

I remember that problem. That's why I would a lot of times wear something light under a parka.

I never wear a coat when I have to go in and out of places like that. I throw a coat in the car in case of an emergency but I never wear it. I'd rather run into a store in a sweatshirt than be too hot when I get in there.

Same problem in the summer only in reverse; you’re wearing a tee shirt and shorts and you go into a movie theatre with the a/c jacked up to full and it feels like the fucking arctic [IMG]

yeah, i never figured out why stores don't just set it at a comfortable temperature year round instead of overcompensating for whatever season it currently is. it would be more comfortable, and save them a lot of money on heating/cooling i'm sure.

^yeah,..it's like if its 15 degrees outside it needs to be 90 degrees inside. If it's 100 degrees outside it needs to be 60 degrees inside for some reason.

Logically it seems that 72 degrees is gonna feel the same no matter what month it is.

if i worked at the store i'd be glad they kept the heat up or the a/c on in the summer.

i wear a hat and gloves, take those off and put in my coat pocket when i go in the store. unzip my coat. but yeah...still hot.

then you can just take ur pants off and try not to get kicked out.

I don't like coats. I wear a long/short sleeve Tshirt, Under armor long sleeve and a hoody. If its a must, A vest. But I do have bibs and artic gear to play in -15 and still be warm.
Summer, I wear sandals and shorts so I usually am tan, So the a/c sucks at night sometimes. A sweatshirt, Shorts and sandals looks kinda fucked up, More so if you're vehicle has no doors or windows, Only a canopy top.
You can always put enough on, But sometimes you can never get enough off. When you soak your boxers in sweat, Its a shitty day.

There has been many of times where I've worn overalls over light clothes, and just strip off the coveralls and stash them somewhere when I get inside

I never really feel uncomfortably hot. Even when I'm working out or doing physical labor outside.

Back in college when I didn't have to pay for my heat I would keep the thermostat set at 75-80 or so. :).

I wear it often too. Its easier to wear a hat and hoody that pants, Shoes etc. Easier to pack as well or hide with a open vehicle.
