i think i may have tonsillitis but im not sure? my throat has been sore for a few days, it hasnt been overly bad nothing i havent had before, my tonsils arent that swollen but i do have a small hole in the back of my right tonsil that ive read may be from tonsil stones? its only a tiny little hole and it may have been there for a long time but it seems like if i have tonsillitis it is a very very mild form of it. im not really in any pain, just annoyed theres a hole in my throat. everyday it seems to get a bit better im just wondering if this sounds like tonsillitis? i have been garggling salt water today a few times trying to keep it clean but im just going to wait it out for a few days and if it gets white bits or anything ill go to the doctor. but it seems this hole and sore tonsils is the only real symptom i have. ive had a bit of a nasal drip seems like a cold but doesnt seem out of the ordinary my nose is always kind of blocked. just appreciate any opinions on the subject
i dont have any of the white things that all acounts of tonsillitis pretty much have as well. i just cant find any other reason why thered be a hole in my tonsil
