I searched the subject on here and found that you develop a tolerance fairly quickly. I was hoping for a more personal response to my question though. Last Friday I took a half eight of mushrooms for Boys Noize, Chromeo, and Crystal Castles. I took 1 gram just for a fun buzz and some slight visuals at a Simian Mobile Disco show last night. Some of my friends were going to take them on friday of this week. Tomorrow. From doing these "small" trips if i were to take another 1/2 eighth, do you think i would still experience the magic of a normal 1/2 eighter of mushrooms? Obviously it would be better if i didn't take them last night, but would there be a PROFOUND difference from taking only one gram? Yes these mushrooms are very good. edit: and personally, i only get a really good buzz and some slight distortions and fractals on things from doses 2gs and lower. Nothin crazy, I have yet to take a LOT and after these small tripps i feel like i need to do that soon to "open" my mind. He's unable to w/ low doses
so let me get this straight, you took 1 gram last week? well that's a little less than half an eighth, i'm pretty sure you may have to take more then the 1/2 to get the full effects of that half, even though you are saying they're good. it takes about 2 weeks for your tolerance to go back down...
I took a half eighth last week and one gram yesterday. Got some pretty good visuals, marble tables swirling and fractals on peoples faces (both last night and last week). I guess i'm wondering if there is any potential for that to happen if i take another 1/2 8th tomorrow at a show. My Molly hookup was arrested by 4 DEAs from different towns so this is my only option to have an enlightening experience.
I feel ya, i doubt it too but the guy was making it in his house in a small town where they take weed VERY seriously. So u can see the conflict from X. No cherokee i didn't eat them, and I feel like nature didn't want me to. Some dude with a ranbow hat was selling rolls and doses at the show so i bought a hit of cid for 8$ and came up to me like a sign. Acid finds you, you dont find acid. I didn't really "feel" like i was tripping but afterwords i realized i actually was. It might have had something to do with the fact that it was in a bag with some molly and had powder all over it and was just in a sandwich bag but idk how much the molly would effect lucy's potency if at all. Also it could be the fact it was at a sweaty rave and i had no money for water. As for the trip, I was seeing flashing green in these purple spotlights being shown on the crowd that wasn't there when i asked my friends about it. Then when Basement Jaxx was doing some scratching the DJ's head started convulsing like a trippy tool video side to side for a second. Also, basement Jaxx had some voice distortion that made this black woman singer sound demonic-like. Watching a video the next day, there was points where i still heard the demonic distortion and they didn't have it on. Lastly, i went to get one water for 5$ so i didn't die and they had signs with neon lights switching from white to blue to like red. Instead of seeing those colors the signs were switching every 2 seconds to purple, orange, green, and white. I'm not sure if that was real or if my friends just weren't paying attention to the colors. I still dont know if it was cid or not because i was only "tripping" for like 5 hours at the show and when i went back to my dorm my pupils were not dilated. The dude said i could have my money back later if i wasn't tripping too and i got his number to get a 10strip tomorrow for infected mushroom so i guess we'll see. :cheers2:
I find it usually only takes around one week. You shouldn't have too many problems with mushroom tolerance unless you try to dose two days running, then you'd have to double your dose.
Everyone says the tolerance for shrooms is so high. I have tripped 1.5 gram, then 1 gram, , then 1 gram, then 0.7 grams, all within two weeks. Each trip was about the same level. I have eaten 4 grams, then 3 grams, and tripped harder off the 3 grams the next day. Its a lot about your mind set is really, and how you plan your trip. Say you take your shrooms friday evening, you trip, you come down, you go to sleep, get a good ass sleep, wake up in the morning and try to keep a clean head til you trip again in the evening time. This gives you all that sleep and soberness to give you mind time to regenerate. If you take them friday evening, get 2 hours of sleep, wake up, smoke yourself silly, drink a beer, turn on loud music, and then back to eatin more shrooms, well then yea your gonna not get so much out of it. I think if you can get sobered up, give your mind some rejuvination, and eat a similar or bigger dose, you can get the same effects. If im going to trip twice in a row I ususally drink XXX vitamin water to get the toxins out, smoke minimal weed, get some exercise, meditate, and listen to some inspiring trippy music, and I am ready to trip again. That is another point too, is sometimes if you go really deep your first trip. You start off there on your second trip. Your mind has all ready been cleaned and defragmented, you can start you next trip from that fresh feeling, and go right into it. Thats why if you go dirtying up your mind afterwards your not gonna get as good as trip, your gonna have to go back through the process.
That's what i found after my splurge last week after taking an eighth, then 1/2 eighth, and then a gram within a week. My gram trip was stronger than the 1/2 eighth off the same batch.
yeah you get a tolerance quick but i tripped for 24hrs straight once took an 1/8 then every 4 hrs redosed--last dose everything was just a little colorful-but i couldnt look at myself cas my body looked like it was 100 years old --hands all knarley wrinkles every where but as long as i didnt look at myself it was still tripping but definatly at a lower level
I absolutly love techno and psychedelics, there is an electronic music for EVERY mood. It can control your high totally. I am soo jealous you got to see Boize Noise! They are awesome!! On topic - I can't take shrooms 2 days in a row unless I double it. But if I wait like 3 days I'm fine with the same dose. I usually eat 3.5g and then re dose caps through the night/day as needed. My personal fav is shrooms with Molly, I love it!
