Today was the last day of the semester, which also means that I have earned an associates degree. I'm so glad to get it over with and be able to make some good money, I'm pretty excited to find out what my future holds.
Congratulations and good luck. Bit o' wisdom for you... You'll likely find that money isn't everything in the working world. Granted, that's the reason we hold jobs and all but be sure you have a job you actually like going in to... nothing sucks quite like hating what you have to do eight hours every friggin day... no matter what the pay is.
I thought about going into engineering, because it's not far from what I'll be doing now. But I decided the math would get me. I'm gonna go back later on for some business courses. After I make some money and find out where I'm gonna settle down at, I want to open a few business of my own. I want to have a head shop/music store that has cool clothes, posters, and the like. Eventually I would love to have my own pub, maybe a resteraunt. Who knows eh?
Wealth changes people... not necessarily he who receives it- it changes those around him. So many people think they are entitled to a piece of what one has. You'd really find out who your real friends are.
I'd like to own my own pub but that's just a pipe dream for me. I have nowhere near the money to attempt such a venture and I probably never will.
Nice. I've met a lot of people in the military, and the navy guys allways seem the coolest. Are you on a ship right now?
Congrats! It must feel awesome being done with it. I'll have my AA in a year and I very much look forward to that day.
