I remember reading in a story that took place in the early 1900's, with a fiery politician telling the assembled mob (all workers): "You know why men like yourselves are referred by the 'big bosses' as factory HANDS, field HANDS........it's because the bosses have YOUR hands working for THEM, while they do NOTHING but reap the gains of YOUR labor!" A telling line from a popular song of the 1920's, "Ain't We Got Fun": "....the rich get richer and the poor get children....." Another old saying: "The rich man gets his ice in the summer, and the poor man gets his in the winter" Somehow, some way, in some instances, the more things change, the more things stay the same. This rings especially true regarding capitalism........ "Live long and prosper"
