    Are you looking for maturity?

    Discretion?

    Tact?

    Honesty?

    Integrity?

Well, WHATEVER you do, DO NOT go looking for ANY of the above on Capitol Hill, for your search, sadly, will indeed be a futile one.....................

New blood that has some sense of balance is desperately needed at this time. A really good education would be a blessing, and not from a religious school or military academy.

Nobody is perfect, such a thing does not exist.

Agreed all the way, my friend.

NONE of us is perfect....NONE of us has a circle of golden light encircling our heads.

I could not agree more; "new blood" is what is so greatly needed today, "new blood" that accept all good people as simply "good people".

Skin color, race, religion, and sexual orientation are superficial here; it is the CONTENT of one's CHARACTER that matters......how tremendously we need a "new wave" of unprejudiced, color-blind, HONEST people in politics today....

Capitol Hill: The world's largest political playpen.:(

With so much childish bickering and fighting on Capitol Hill today, with next to no maturity or nor honesty being exhibited, is it any wonder why so many Americans have become so despondent, and why so many other nations are ridiculing us?

Indeed, Lady Liberty, stalwart and tall in New York Harbor, must truly be shedding tears, at this moment in time.....:(

........I would not be the least bit surprised to learn that office and computer supplies to the US Capitol are all furnished free-of-charge by Fisher-Price and Playskool, given the current level of immaturity in DC these days......:(:oops:o_O

The Bible tells us: ".....and a little child shall lead them....."

Maybe its about time that YOUNGSTERS should assume at least SOME of the positions on Capitol Hill....PERHAPS we just MIGHT see SOME improvement; certainly we MAY even see some semblence of MATURITY......

    Exactly!

A "stranger" in an even STRANGER land, for certain!

If the children of today are our future, WHAT will the future hold for these young people?

Surely, role models of decency and character are becoming scarcer than hen's teeth today; even more so in the political world.

When grown men (HIGHLY-paid men, I might add) who wield power in our government resort to childish name-calling and roughhousing, SOMETHING is INDEED wrong.

Recall "Pinocchio"....his nose grew every time he lied?

If this were reality, most of those on Capitol Hill would have noses stretching from DC to Paris.

    Sad.........

I always thought (yes, I've long been QUITE naive) that people in "high places", especially high-ranking politicians, were SUPPOSED to set POSITIVE examples for not only the country, but also, ALL Americans of ALL ages.

We now live in a totally-screwed up world where people kill each other over parking spaces, video games, and simple domestic disputes.

    Schools have become combat zones.

A "hot-wired" society such as ours is BAD enough.....BUT, when almost everyone now carries a chip on his shoulder (and a gun on his person), it simply is NOT going to end well.

What is our government doing, besides acting like spoiled little children?

    Sure baffles me......

    Think about this.....

Ever wonder just WHO appoints the bungling, bumbling, idiotic, immature, and pompous individuals up on Capitol Hill?

A retired talent scout for Ringling Brothers, perhaps?:D

Attention, all would-be politicians on Capitol Hill:

    PLEASE get your act together.......NOW!!!!!!!!!

Too many innocent people are perishing in mass shootings on an almost daily basis.

Hate crimes abound throughout the country.

Too many whackos now own guns.

Violent criminals are allowed to walk the streets free and clear, while decent Americans have to hunker down and wonder if there will be another mass shooting, when they are work, the store, their children's schools,or in their houses of worship.

What our "politicians" are doing (besides raking in BIG $$$$$ and behaving like overgrown juvenile deliquents)?

GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER NOW, IDIOTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Today's question:

What do most politicians on Capitol Hill have in common with used-car salesman?

    Answer:

Well, for the most part, they're slick, sleazy, dishonest, con artists, and talk out of both sides of their mouth......:D:eek:o_O:rolleyes:

An old, old saying goes like this:

"Money is the root of all evil".

If this is the case, NO WONDER Capitol Hill is as degenerate and as corrupt as it is.........

Capitalism has always been rigged for the rich--the insiders. The legislators ( of most all nations-communist--socialist , dictatorships) and their symbiotic relationships with those who control the wealth is a given. The rest of humanity toils in their behalf. The earths resources may as well be considered the playthings of the insiders and will, in the end, be the demise of us all when they are used up. And remember---BUY MORE. BUY MORE NOW.
