I love your sentiment, but today is all about Jesus Christ. Sunday we will celebrate the bunny that brought so much joy and zits upon us.

I'm only really into Jesus in that for many he is like the first proto-hippy.This is how I relate to him.I think it would be best if he was generally considered this way.I can't take organised religion. Some aspects of Islam attract me because despite the fucked up fundamentalists there are some very peaceful and pure aspects to it.Buddhism informs many aspects of my life but ~I don't think about it too much. There are some nice things about the Krisnas.I kind of have my own religion that probably no one would understand. It's just about trying to find peace and love.Probably religion is a terrible thing but we have a theistic tradition on Earth so I guess we will will just have to work through it.Some people are just plain atheists and they are probably right. It's just that my experiences with transcendental mediation has led me to believe there is something more out there.

True. But I think I've said enough about rabbits elsewhere. Un-christian little varmints.

The brits don't do that. Eating wild rabbits is considered ok, but the idea of breeding them to eat seems to offend a lot of folks. I never saw rabbits being fattened up for the table until I visited Italy.

Here they are kept a lot by little kids as pets. You've got to do something with those rabbits once the kids get tired of them.

It's because people have them as pets - and not only kids - that they don't like the idea of breeding them to eat.

In some parts of Peru, they eat guinea pigs or cavies which the kids play with up to the time they are ready for the chop. I would imagine there wouldn't be as much meat on one as on a rabbit.
Those kids must somehow have a different psychology from western kids.
