The flaw in your argument is your false assumption that these are THE REASONS people voted for Trump. Firstly, the people do not vote for Trump, they vote for their senators. People support representatives that they believe will uphold their best interests. In the end yes, they support Trump. Not because he's a disgraceful offensive crook, but because he's a means to an end. When democracy is reduced to choosing the lesser of two evils, people vote for what they can tolerate.

 

What a bizarre statement people surely do and did vote for trump, they also vote for their representatives on the federal and local level so WTF
