I have listened to, recorded, and spliced hundreds of hours of psychedelic lectures by many speakers. Im a musician and audio engineer, I love music. I prefer the intricate rhythms of Sphongle, Infected Mushroom, Thievery Corporation, Portishead, and Massive Attack among many, many others. Mysterium Tremendum: The Talk: I have spliced, categorized and organized many lectures into smaller fragments so they're easily accessible.. This cuts out the unimportant stuff and gets straight to the point, the useful information categorized. I have "spliced", or cut small sections out of a lecture and renamed them to their respective topics. In doing so, I've made this information accessible to those who are in search for specific areas or topics. Audio: After identifying lectures, I then searched my audio library of over 5,000 tunes for the most ambient, intricate, trippy, complex, and utterly psychedelic electronica: Thievery Corporation & Massive Attack.. among many. After finding appropriate tracks with appropriate bpm and rhythm, I compared the many audio splices against the electronica.. I take no credit for any actual trackwork. These artists that spoke and composed are genius.. I merely incorporated the information with the electronica to make an album -- A process that has taken more than a year. Set: The psychedelic point of view Setting: A small ambiently lit, quiet room with a good subwoofer, good sound system or studio headphones, a _______ and some chronic with an hour to spare.
