tiny penis'

how come in old stautes and painting.. the male nudes always have TINY penis'? have penis' become larger over the last few hundred years?

 

artists tend to have small penises. this is why they got into art to begin with. so when they paint or sculpt a penis, they make it even smaller than their own in order to feel better about themselves.

 

maybe it was just really really cold back then

maybe the models were assholes so the sculpter/painter gave them tiny nobs just to annoy them and get their own back .

 

Well i have heard that the penises were made smaller as to not detract from the real male beauty (suppose to be the rest of the body.)

The chains are an interesting feature of this statue, i wonder if it has any metaphorical meaning? being chained to his own dick, he looks rigid and tormented.

 

okay okay to be fair NOT ALL ART form the past have tiny penis'... but it seems like most classic european styles of art.. they have tiny penis'... was is because religion was harsh on people then?
