This is in my top five favourite works of romantic fiction. (probably in my top five favourite books of all). I was so disappointed to see it is being made into a movie, with a horrible cast. Rachel mcAdams is playing clare, while she is a nice actress she just cant capture clares botticelli beauty and free spirit. and Eric bana is just the last person i would cast for Henry, he has zero charisma. Im worried that they will have no chemistry. Any thoughts?
Has anybody else enjoyed this book?
I read it twice, each time i read it in one sitting. literally couldnt put it down! (but i do that with a lot of books to be fair!)

I loved the book as well!

I think Eric Bana will do ok as Henry, but I think Rachel McAdams is totally wrong!

Be interesting to see the finished product anyway.

Oh fantastic book, one of those that you can start reading again as soon as you finish it. And you just made me want to read it again.

I'm quite worried about there being a film, then again I don't like films of books much anyway. It's so much more fun to picture everything going on in your head than have it played out in front of you so you don't have to think.

I loved this book too, it was a little bit confusing but only a bit... I would be very interested in the Movie because well, you can't judge them till they've done it and who knows, it could be a masterpiece. And to be honest i wouldnt mind who's in the cast because i think that to ruin a book like that, well you'd have to be pretty bad.

I didn't like it much at all. I love the idea of time travel but the book was inconsistent in my opinion.

My fav thing about was that even after he died, his child got to see him and know him. If only we were all so lucky.

I loved it personally, but I don't see a movie really working at all regardless of cast. It would be too confusing and could never capture the beauty of the novel.

now I find the thread about this book, right after I just made a new one!

This book is amazing! I didn't know they were making a movie out of the story. I'm not sure that will be very good. Who knows, though. I'll have to watch it anyway, I'm too curious not to!

I loved the book also, although it's been a couple of years since I read it.

Making a movie of it will be tough, for sure. I've been pleasantly surprised before about movies though, so maybe it will be ok.

I think it will be good as a film, the book confused me at first but the film should make more sense.

LOOOOOVED the book! Was not sure how well it could be turned into a movie because it really has a lot to it. Though the movie certainly wasn't as good as the book, I loved it. I never cry in movies but my bet friend and I were both blubbering like babies. haha.
