For it's time...H.G. Well's The Time Machine (1960) was awesome. For being a Jean-Claude Van Damme movie, Time Cop (1994) was pretty good. If they ever make a movie out of Dean Koontz's Lightning...that could be an awesome time travel movie.

    That would be FUCKIN GREAT

But they wont.. if i had millions to spend on a script
Lightning would come near the top. "BlitzStrasse"
Great srory Luv how the kids mom gets headaches
thinking about the paradoxes.. Lovd the main character too
Liked how he had yoiu thinking it was modern soviet timetravel.
[names and such] but was actually 1944
Time travel from the 3rd Reich...COOL. Reminds me of
operation proteus but backwards. [and sideways]

Have read all his books. Like to meet him.

    Plan one.. the Ackerson plan.

I just watched "Primer" yesterday. It's an indie film, and they use a ton of super physics jargon. The plot is pretty cool; I'm not a big time-travel fan but this movie was a good choice if you're into those.

Primer bends the brain to breaking point...

Luckily mine was already broken before watching.. so no harm done.

If you are interested in 'time' fiction stories.
    Read Barrington J Baley
    'Collision with Chronos' and especially
'Fall of the Chronotic Empire' are a great read.

Everyone, stay away from the new version of Time Machine with Guy Pearce. It's horrible.

I agree. I didn't like it either. The original is still better even though you have to remember it was created before all the cool special effects. But, for it's time, the original rocked!

    Yeh Darko ..
watched again for 5th time only a few days back.
    So much hidden within script.

    Tangletale timeline stories.
As a SF nut i can untangle most.
Darko is my limmit tho.. As was primer.
Go past those two and your in fantasy.

The movie Time After Time (1979) is a little known classic about time travel - It's worth checking out at the video store [IMG]

You had me on 'time after time'.. i thought i'd seen EVERY time movie but a quick imdb reminded me i had seen it soon after it came out.
I'd have to watch it again to rate it.. been a long 'time' [sorry]

What did you think of sound of thunder if you can put aside the bad production.
    i gave it a 6 1/2 for the line
    'Beauracrats...
If one jumped out a window it would be a week before he hit the ground.'

what we need is a remake of the 'time tunnel' series.
but first . shoot doug and tony in the head and get new mains... lol
