Tight anus

Not sure if I'm posting this in the right section .
My anus is very tight and when I have a bowel movement it comes out really thin. My wife and I are looking at anal shel for both of us we have bought some sex toys including a beginners butt plug. When we tried to insert it it was really tight and took ages to get it in. When it was in it felt ok but then we tried it again about half an hour later and it was tight again.

Does anyone have any suggestions for me.

its my understanding that is how the butt plug is supposed to work.. Its gets the stuck in there cause it would fall out otherwise.. I do not know I never used one butt, that sound right.
