yes and no. i could break that down a little further. instead i'll just say there have been times when there were better odds of learning sooner with less risk. and while statistically it may be more often 'kids' then older adults, you know its a statistical curve and those things don't have absolute age limits. its a cultural thing, and right now the dominant culture is kind of at a low point of intelligence.
The dominant American culture is low point intelligence but kids have done risky things like this as dares for decades.
I did not know that, but I am not at all surprised. My post was more about my anticipated affects of the detergent entering the stomach. I imagine that the more immediate death happened when the person chocked on the liquid and it entered their bronchial passage. In the case of a toddler, it would swell and close off within about an hour, causing an agonizing death. In cases where it drained into the lungs, the death would have been a bit slower, but even more agonizing for the patient.
i've been hearing about this challenge for a while now. i still haven't figured out what a tide pod actually is though.
Yep. I think that's what all the fuss is about. They're cool looking little things! I think you just pop one of those in your laundry and voila! I'm not sure what it does either to be honest, but I think that's the gist.
You use it in place of laundry soap. It contains detergent, some sort of stain remover and something else (as indicated by the colors). You just pop it in the wash instead of regular liquid soap. You're right though, it's sort of visually appealing.
Times have changed. Today the 'challenge challenge for the challenged' has been proposed. That's the challenge for mentally challenged teens to resist idiotic challenges.
A remedy is to make a product that safely serves both purposes. New Shimmer is both a floor wax and a dessert topping. Watch Saturday Night Live Clip: Shimmer Floor Wax - ShareTV
A couple of years ago it was planking, remember kids were planking in dangerous spots and falling to their deaths I dont know that we had challenges like that when I was a teenager but I do remember people huffing air duster, that was a big thing Teenagers are stupid and should just be kept inside until they turn 20
yeah, the internet was still kind of a new thing back in those days, so these kind of challenges hadn't really emerged from it yet. our internet was more about getting on aol chat rooms and catfishing each other. coming up with ways to seriously injure yourself was still mostly handled locally.
