Thumbprint Dose(vs. DMT)

So I was discussing with a friend about DMT, and we both asked which takdes you "out further" DMT or a "Thumbprint Dose" of LSD? Has anyone tried either? How do the experiences compare? How are they different? Do people ever really take extremely high doses such as 100 hits?

dmt can be like ten hits of lsd at once, very high.. more further out! but will only last a short period of time as opposed to lsd giving you twelve hours of effects.

I've wondered about people doing crazy amounts like 100, but that would be an amazing waste for one...
Four or five I would make my tops but I like to enjoy it more than just get totally fucked out of it.

 

Sounds crazy man I've never done dmt so I wonder.... Yeah man I've heard that the thumbprint experience is likd completely life changing ! So how does dmt compare?? Like I've seen some pretty far out things on lsd but I want to try dmt also!

Intense isn't always a good thing.
I went to high school with a guy who was about to get busted by cops after getting pulled over on a smoke ride or something and he ended up taking a whole sheet of acid. Dude was never the same again. We got a fuckin looney toon scooting around on the craziest lookin moped giving directions to people that don't need them.

Wow I've been hearing the same thing! See now everyone is saying the lsd has no harmful effects, but for every drug there is a downside we probably just Don't know enough about it yet to declare anything!

 

So, who you gonna believe, over 60 years of research, experimentation, studies, trials, extensive medical studies, lifelong follow-ups of subjects, etc.,etc.
or
the guy who knows a guy who's cousin heard about a guy who took a thousand hits and went crazy?


All the information you seek is but a few keystrokes away, actually educate yourself rather than basing things on urban myth bullshit.

Yeah I have also heard that story, but I really don't think it's true. My roommate's brother has experienced his entire being condensed into a beam of energy and he is a cool down-to-earth person, apart from being a bit spaced out at times, but that's because he's a stoner and he's done a lot of other drugs.

 

Well I have read some stories about "Acid Families", groups of people who make acid and sell it. These acid families are a lot of the time take lsd as a very serious chemical. For a lot of them it is a very spiritual thing.

Now I've heard that these Acid Families give thumbprints only to those who have proven themselves worthy enough to be given the thumbprint experience. They need to be shown that you know and respect the chemical.

And the stories told all say pretty much say the same thing. Instant breakthrough, no questions asked total ego death, just total absorption into the experience. The momentum it gives you is enough to push through into god consciousness, cosmic consciousness, just completely universal psychedelia, every bit of experience turned into psychedelic explosions!

See with Dmt you will breakthrough quite quickly, and it is very intense, yet it feels natural. I am not sure how it would feel on that much lsd, but I can tell you the intensity of it would be through the roof. It would defiantly be a breakthrough with a lot more force behind it, and the duration would be a 100-fold. Were talking about 12 hours in the realm of the inexpressible here!

 

I could only imagine how far out into the cosmos you'd be pushed out!! Haha have any of you ever seen any alien like creatures out there?

 

Wasn't saying it to bash anyone, but the medical field is always research in motion which is why the call it a "practice", and medical information on pharmaceuticals and bio chemistry change rapidly I wouldn't be surprised if 30 years later you find out lsd cures dyslexia, but prolonged use causes loss of memory. Either way still undeniably interesting to think of people taking such doses!

 

What story would that be? The one I told I actually experienced. So yes obviously such high doses can fuck you up and change you drastically. Everybody is different though, and every situation is different so you never really know.

 

You admitted yourself that you heard it from someone else, so that's hearsay. You didn't read a doctor's report, you heard it from "someone close."

The story is pretty standard. Guy is driving his car down the street, through customs, etc. with 100 tabs of acid. Gets pulled over. Decides his only way to get rid of it is to eat all of them. Thinks he's a glass of orange juice for the rest of his life. It's the universal story to explain how someone went crazy when you don't really know.

i've smoked dmt, but not brokethrough yet.

 

Some of my highest doses of DMT have tended towards unconsciousness and/or severe amnesia, it feels like there is kind of a ceiling. My highest LSD doses have 'only' been at the ~500-600 ugs dose level but I can't imagine anything being further out than my strongest DMT doses. Perhaps my strongest Salvia trips have maybe been slightly further out in a sense but they are different psychedelic realms so it's sort of an arbitrary distinction after a certain point imo.

As far as intensity goes, I think the duration of being in a 10+ hour LSD trip would tip the scale, even if it doesn't hit with quite the same immeadiacy and force of a breakthrough DMT trip.

I'm not saying psychedelics and their misuse can't fuck you up, look at freshdacre, he spent months arguing with the voices in his head, after a pretty normal dose of mushrooms.... I think it wan an eighth, but I'm sure it wasn’t bigger than a quarter. That's an example of what poor/irresponsible mental prep and mindset can do (though he obviously has other problems, and did before that happened).
