    Through Three Layers of Glass

The mind of man createth wings that fly
Enabled to have a birds eye view
To be inside this plane, Oh how I'll cry
To jump out this window and be born anew!

I'll soar through the air; the clouds break my fall
One breath of vapor, a breath of new life
My exhale is thick, I've slowed to a crawl
I'll meet Mother Nature, and make her my wife

Exit the cloud, the air striking my face
Freedom flows through my hair, flows through my veins
The wind blows strong, but I'm up for a race
The Earth is my steed, and I hold the reigns

Unjust, God gave birds the wings that I long
Gave man mind to create, but we got it wrong!

Let me know what you think...

It really brings to life our struggle in the modern world to
be connected to nature as well as the heavy burden of
our human bodies and longing to fly free.

    Very nice, I liked it.
