Im curious about the effects of a small amount of orally ingested DMT. has anyone drunk a small amount of ayahuasca, or some other brew and had a threshold trip? are there still visuals? Would it be possible to mix with another hallucinogen and still enjoy, or just be overwhelming?
just to make sure you know, to ingest DMT orally you need a MAOI to make it active. sorry if you already know. to your question ive never encountered ayahuasca myself ive only smoked DMT. im interested also to know though as i would like to make some of my own one day and need some idea on dosage. i have smoked fairly small doses while on acid before and that was something else, probably some of the farest places ive been out of reality. the acid really does lose some steam after the DMT has worn off unless its a pretty high dose at least it does for me.
Like the previous poster said, DMT is inactive orally. You need to mix it with an MAOI. When you do this you are essentially taking ayahuasca. If you don't want to worry about getting an MAOI, you should smoke that DMT!
I know about the MAOI, thats not what I asked. Im curious if a small dosage of ayahuasca would give a primarily visual experience, or do visuals come on in larger doses?
You know what back in the days of my earlier experiments of ayahuasca boiling I would only have small amounts of success that would lead to low yield potions but still somewhat active. Through my deserperation to pull whatever visionary experience i could from. I always found very profound detailed visuals. Short lasting though for and hour or 3 at most. Thats where I learned to double and tripple dose to extend and increase it.
