Not wanting to sound radical but I've found the police to be the most radical. Not that criminal elements aren't crazy enough as they are. Most of the crime I've witnessed was people just being counter culture. I've never really witnessed a lot of outright wrong doing. But it's the police that's there job to ambush people. Could be a speed trap, could be a narcotics investigation. Rarely does someone end up dead when the arrested realize the fight is over. What's always in the mind of the arrested, and for the rest of their life, is that these cops could kill us and we can't do shit!

Not that I think starting an armed conflict within homeland is going to solve peoples problems. I don't find it a race issue either. People don't like being targeted and usually feel justified in their actions. The thing about having written law is if you read up on it you should know what's expected. I've learned that quite a bit more lately over the past years. I cannot trust my feelings as those lead many people astray. It takes outright knowing the law. It's going to be a lot longer for the laws to relax. People build tension.

 

I don't like cops either... Doesn't mean I cheer when some fucking nutjob with a gun takes a few out.

We only get to see what the media want us to see in the Uk, but we did see the footage of the black guy being shot dead by the cop!
And we did hear about the cops then being killed in Dallas, but I'm interested in knowing if any of the cops killed since then were black?

I got arrested once for knocking on a door of people that decided they didn't like me anymore. I went home after I got bond and a cop came to my door. Ended up getting handcuffed in my home over some trim on the table. The officer wouldn't let me out of cuffs without verbally agreeing to work as a narc. I said sure whatever and went back to the door I originally got arrested for knocking on. They had sold to me in the past and were my most recent dealers. I thought if they're gonna fuck me I'll just fuck them back. I didn't try to get inside but they said I did. They misquoted as much as you all do around here. So I got arrested again and got bond. I didn't show up to court and it was all relitevly small stuff. Not a major crime at all. They didn't even charge me with failure to appear. But what they did do was send a cop out who pointed a loaded gun at my heart and threw me to the ground. They take the smallest most petty shit in the world and make it as dangerous as possible.

Would I cheer if any of those cops that treated me like shit for petty fucking crime got hurt in duty? No!!! But I ain't bringing them flowers and chocolates either. Rather just stay away from them but sometimes they think I'm an easy target and shake me down. I hate being afraid and deal with a lot of paranoia. They don't exactly make being a victim any better either. I've been a victim a lot in my life. I've been beat'n by people, been robbed, been molested, had my apartment bugged by a retired Marine Intel Warrant officer who threatened to have my legs broke. Been through a bunch of shit and never had any help by the police. Most of the time people don't want to be a witness!

My attitude is that I don't think escalation yields peaceful results. Their entire strategy is to escalate until it stops. Very rarely do they do a peaceful talk down.

I do have one good memory of a cop! I was taken to the ER for having some mental problems. I was getting my blood taken cause they likely wanted a tox screen. I was afraid that the needle would give me HIV. The cop held my hand as I was full of tears. Most of the educated cops are ok but some of them have only military education.

I don't think things will get better when people shoot at cops or spit on them or take a punch! I know for a fact that it only gets harder on everyone. There are an endless supply of people that want to be police. I get the impression that when people take shots at cops they think they will remove them from the equation when that's just not possible. After the police comes the national guard and they are going to be a lot tougher than cops.

If I saw an officer in distress and they were really hurt and needed help I would. I just would think the ones that have caused me fear were up to something sketchy.

I don't want to be in the same boat as the people are who really are asking for more violence. I know how easily people troll and misconstrue words into situations that can be easily abusive. There are some websites were people really do hate the cops because those people are risking decades behind prison. Perhaps even for things that shouldn't be a crime like taking care of and producing drugs that are as much produced by nature. But I don't grow those things so I don't have as much to fear. I just know that even words online can get a knock on the door and you all don't give a rats ass about anyone's safety online or at home. You might claim you do because of your political nature which I find not to be as heartfelt as you give the shallow impression.

I get the very fast impression that people online don't know how to read exactly what words are written. Not everything is a veiled attempt at something and the only thing I veil are jokes cause that's my way of dealing with the world. I have a sly sense of humor and it's just to take the edge off of things.

I think that's the concern of anyone who at all leans left. Nobody wants to see martial law, death camps and all that nonsense. What people want is to be able to live a normal peaceful life and make secure purchases. Anyone who wants shit to boil to a tipping point is part of the problem and not at all a solution.
