Three of the boldest places to be barefoot

List some places you've been barefoot, and how dirty did you feet get, where 99% of the people around you wouldn't be caught dead barefoot (usually cause it's too dirty).

I think it's so cool to see a girl barefoot where no one else is or expected to be.

My favorites are:
Carnival rides...Bumper cars made my feet black, and I stepped in gum
Subway tunnels...Cool floors, suprisingly dirty although it didn't look it.
Movie theaters...Slid my feet on the butter and popcorn spilled on the floor.
School...Not really dirty, just dusty but the floor felt so good.

I have been lucky enough to be barefoot at all of these places but I don't do it often.

What are some of your experiences???? Post pix if you got them (I don't...yet)

 

I'd have to say my favorite barefooting place (where nobody else would ever go barefoot) is the indoor flea market in my city. It's an old converted warehouse with filthy cement floors and it's huge and usually really crowded.

I walked around in bare feet there three times this last summer (flip-flops in hand). Nobody said anything, but I think people thought it was odd.

the garage area of a motor cycle shop when I was in California, got very very black feet (took a friend there to get his bike)

one place you would think most people would be barefoot but rarely are .. a car wash and the drying bay .. again very very black feet

six flags amusement park .. the feet didn't really get that dirty and the water rides kinda cleaned them off

 

Public toilets,Only if i have to pee really bad.

 

Well, when I read the thread title I was thinking not so much about dirty feet as places that it takes balls to go barefoot.

I haven't done these places barefoot, but I would say it would take guts to go barefoot
- on a White House tour
- in a police station
- in court

I agree, interesting point... They are all governmental places...hmmmmm?

Another place that I would die to see barefooters at is the Home Depot.

i always go barefoot to carnivals..... i have gone barefooting at the movies...but not always.. i was just on jury duty..i didnt get picked, but i wore my barefoot sandals.. and long jeans.

 

At a board meeting with all the corporate executives of Nike or Reebok.

 

Public transportation would have to be #1 for me. Afterall, the majority of the other commuters are dressed to the nines in their fancy business shoes and pumps, and there's little old me, barefoot and sticking out like a sore thumb. I think having nice black soles far out weighs the thought of sticking out like a sore thumb.

Restaurants would have to be a close second for me. Personally, I have never strolled into a restaurant barefoot before, but I did manage to work up the courage to pick up a pizza at the local pizza joint barefoot on one or two occasions.

 

I have been barefoot in Home Depot a bunch of times...

 

ive gone barefoot at all the fast food places. they dont care about that.

 

I wouldn't go barefoot in:

Broken glass with aids infected blood on the glass that's broken lake - (A place I made up, but I wouldn't go there anyway)

An active volcano - I wouldn't go there even with shoes.

my bedroom floor - ewww

Thornland, the amusement park, in L.A. (Again, made up)

And finally -

A beach with really really really hot rocks and sand - That always sucks.

 

Done both of these. Actually went to a fancy Oriental Steakhouse with my fraternity barefoot. It was a cool one where they cook right at your table. Order the cheapest thing on the menu and you're lucky to get out spending only $30. You know, a place where a tie is required and a jacket would be nice? I was dressed up but the feet were bare. My fraternity brothers freaked out -- I told them to go piss on a dead horse... or something like that. I wonder why they complained about me not conforming all the time . One of them made it blatently clear the the woman seating us that I was not wearing shoes. She looked at me and smiled, "That doesn't bother us... you're table is over here." It made a couple of the fraternity butt-holes LIVID. A few others realized that it was okay and kicked off their dress shoes, after we were seated, for the duration of the meal. That was probably the boldest place I have ever gone. Half of the thing was I loved to piss off the fraternity people. Frats suck ass... never join one.

Later that year I joined a co-ed brotherhood. Much more to my liking.

 

Car ferries... I usually end up with surprisingly black feet.
Underground garages - my favorite place when going barefoot. Floors are oily and greasy there, stepping in oil makes not only my soles black, but my toes too...looks interesting with red polish on my toenails

 

I discovered the beauty of barefooting at Alpine GDFR when i was trippin so hard, i forgot to put my shoes back on togo to the bathroom, where my feet found a cool, wet cement floor. Sounds gross, but i actually liked it.

I don't know if the wetness was from actual piss, beer or people washing themselves down amidst the the unbearable heat...prolly all the above...

 

Normal thing in a club toilet...floors are always wet and gross, but I don't care

 

I used to walk through london everyday barefoot in the summer on my way to college or heading up to cambridge ... london is a very dirty place, and the looks you get on the tube or on trains and the comments are great.

I went to a fair and tried to go onto the bumper cars but they wouldnt let me because the floors electric or something and i might get eolectricuted.

Glastonbury Festival in the mud and rain ... now you would think there would be loads of barefooters there but nope barely saw any (not including in the teepee field )

 

...oh and in toilets in pubs and bars they are usually very scummy, especially some of the ones round france and spain.

 

Places I have been barefeet: the tubes in London where you can get the most filthiest feet ever, shopping malls and public toilets. Wpuld love to see your feet, Fleassy!
