thoughts on a purely natural extraction.

I came on to actually make some corrections to some of my work. This is what happened. Something in me desperately wanted to make some of my evap juice. I guess because the batch of powder I had went into the d-limonene.

If you follow the recipe word for word In my trial was impossilble to filter. Plus it reeks to high heaven in orange solvant. As soon as the bitch wouldnt filter not even 1 drop of anything I knew the tek was bunk. To good to be true. At least I know how to properly get a pure extraction done.

But anyways here is the change that must be made in evap juice. I recently harvested a 3ft peruvian from one of my patches. This one was a little dehydrated and when I cooked the foam it was a bitch to turn a juice. Then when I did and tried to filter it, It reminded me of the tek filter failure. I barely got any juice out of the mush. There was no way I was gone walk with just the little bit of juice that was a pain to procure.

I tried a muslin bag and that made thing worse. So what I decide was to add some water to the mixture to help thin it out. I know there is medicine left in the pulp. I have to wait to cook the juice again since I have a limited window to perform extractions.

This is what I am going to do with the unfiltered juice. Since I added some water to it as it sits now in a jar. I will reheat the juice mixture and filter. Then I am going to simmer the pulp in a lemonade solution (2 parts water 1 lemon juice) for 2 x 20min, using fresh solution each time. The filtered solutions will be mixed together and restrained to reduce sediment and then evaporated on a glass dish in a 150F oven.

This will ensure that all medicine is extracted from the cactus and help in filtering. The evaporated residue will be a concentrated form of cactus powder containing a stable mescaline citrate conversion from the lemon juice. It of course is very crude and extremely potent.

I will let you know how it turns out. I am actually testing the effects of 1.5ft worth of the powder extract and getting a weight of the amount of powder 1.5ft procures. Then I can use that as a gauge that will tell me. How high 1.5ft SP extract gets you how much it weights and how much weight of extract powder is needed for full range effects. It is the last of my work.

ps. i was bummed when i read that the Citrate extraction didn't work.

 

impossible with whatever device you were using. a t-shirt works fine for this.
you should have just saved the mush and tried filtering with a t-shirt. or you can even get down right lazy with it and pour it off.


the point is that tek works...and great at at that. there is a thread full of people who have sucessfully done it at the nexus with pics of their yields. don't call it bunk because you couldn't figure out how to filter it ( a rather simple step).
