Thor's last great deed

This is a little email story I wrote for the local Humane Society, They said they wanted something to put in their news letter. This is what I sent them.

The story needed to be short for this local new letter. I could have gone over it again after reading it for the 20th or 30th time but it's already been sent. Good enough! This doesn't cover even a tiny percent of who Thor was, what he's done, ...

Wish he were still laying here waiting for that walk..... Better still I wish we could all go run in the mountains once again.

 

he is ty.you just can't see him.an ya that sucks! that you can't see him an hug him an stuff.but in his spirit he'll always be walkin' right beside you.an if you close your eyes an picture the mountains,you can all still run there together again.,without even moving.

 

Thor was awesome. How are you, Koa and the kitties doing? Losing such a friend is so hard. Be well and remember to take care of yourself.

 

Thanks.... We are hanging in there, Koa is not taking it so well. Thor was his best buddy, or actually more than that to him.

 

My condolences, Thor seemed to be a great friend to both you and his kitty buddies. Thats the toughest part of sharing your life with a furry friend but the memories of time spent helps as well as knowing you did the best you could to make Thors life fun and comfortable make it so worthwhile.

 

Thor, the wonder dog, who passed over in February of this year was joined in summer-land by his life long buddy Koa the faithful. The two of them sit in a beautiful green field and watch the kitties Oak, Ash, and Hawthorn... Lil'Girl is curled up with Hawthorn (my "Little Man") as those two always had a special love for each other... while Oak and Ashley chase glittering butterflies... Lil'Boy sleeps restfully, nestled against Thor's massive paws. Mister Jera, the eldest, sits regally with his brand new golden fur coat.


R.I.P. my babies...
