Me and some buddies of mine, bought a pretty good sized ball of opium for 80 dollars. We smoked the shit out of it and felt nothing, does anyone have any sugestions on maybe why this is? Is there a certain way to do raw opium, such as hash, with the pin and base and the dome? Any help would be great. Thanks
What the hell is sopium, some slang for fake opium? The way I smoked opium, was on tin foil, the same way you would smoke herion. Did it happen to be "Red Rock Opium?" Because that is incense, that some asshat started selling as opium, and it seemed to catch on all over the fucking USA. Real actual opium isn't easy to find, to be honest. Most likely it's going to be fake shit. No, it was black tar opium. I did read on the sopium, and that seams about what it was. A couple of people that smoked it got tracers but that was it.
It's the actual name of a product legally sold as incense, been around since the 60's. It's often resold as opium.

Before you ever buy opium make sure to smoke a couple hits just to make sure it's good and if they act funny when you ask to do this then fuck it, they're trying to rip you off
Has anyone actually ever bought real opium at a festival/show? I've seen one or two guys selling it at a lot of shows, but it always looks like incense to me, so I've never bought it, because I hear so much about the fake stuff. It seems like it would be an extremely rare thing to find some real stuff. Last time someone walked up to me and offered it, I immediately asked him, "Is it real?" kind of as a joke. The funny thing was, he never really answered the question...he just showed it to me, had me smell it, and repeated the price. No, thanks.. (I guess real raw opium may look and smell like the incense too.)
In almost 10 years of doing drugs, I have NEVER met a dealer who will just let you "sample" their shit right in front of them so you can decide if you want it or not. You get what you get, and if it's bunk then you just resell it to someone else. I always see people telling others to ask to try the drugs before they buy it....but....dealers don't have the time to sit there and wait for you to try it, only to turn around and tell them their drugs suck and you don't want them. You'll get your ass stomped for something like that. Dealers aren't desperate, and they aren't really the nicest business people you come across. If you don't buy it, the next guy on the next block will, it's not a big loss to them if you don't buy it, so they aren't gonna waste time with you and let you sit there and do their shit and wait for you to decide. Honestly...I've dealt with hundreds of dealers, and not a single one of them gave out freebies to try. If you guys have dealers that do, I want to move there, because that is VERY RARE to come across a dealer that works like that. Like I said, you get what you get, there isn't some sample program...imagine if every single person did that, the dealer would end up giving away quite a bit of product, and dealers are about money. I have been seeing quite a bit of people saying to try out the drugs before you buy them, and it's just been amazing me because, as I have said, dealers are about money, and they don't have time to give out freebies and let you try it and THEN decide.
Dude there are so many things out there that people sell andsay are opium its becasue its so easy to find stuff that taste and smell just like it.After paper hits its buy far the second most faked and Bogus drug sold at Hippie festivals,shows,gatherings etc. also peacegrow I have gotten real opium 6 times over the years 4 of them being at Hippie type places and hear they are the first being at a festival in Santa Cruz Cali back in 96 the 2nd time being a Festival/concert at bethel back in 97 the one they hold every year during the original woodstock dates on the original woodstock site, the 3rd time was at a Phish show at Madison Square Garden back in 97 I think it was maybe 96, and last time I got real opium was at a Bob Weir & Rat Dog concert at the Mid Hudson civic center in Dutchess county New York and thats it the Bob Weir show was the last time to this day I have seen real opium around or have gotten it.Those are the only 4 times I have ever seen any one selling real opium where Hippies are and gather. The 2 other times over the years I have bought opium are from the Ghetto drug dealers in New York and that to is another place where they will rip you off 99% of the time when buying opium. its just a easy drug to fake thats why 99% of the time its fake and lets be honest alot of opium is not imported into America. Why keep it as opium when you can make Heroin from it and make for $$$.
I've gotten real opium once at a festival, it was lovely. Also, I've never had any dealers offer free samples, besides weed dealers and a benzo online vendor.
I personally have never had opium. When I was about 14, some kid was selling Red Rock Opium, which I didn't partake in, and after the party came home and found out it was incense. Made me laugh to look back and think about all the people who swore they were SOOO fucked up off of it. They had been mixing it with weed, smoking it on tin-foil, the works. I bought a huge piece of chronic opium at the gathering of the vibes this year. But we sampled before we bought it through a friend of a friend...
Awww man....that's not right. If you get scammed, stop it there. Wow....that last time I was talking about was at the vibes....maybe it was real. I'm really too paranoid maybe. The year before this (vibes '07) I thought I bought bad acid, and then tried it months later and it was real. I guess I have to have more faith in people. The vibes was pretty cool, huh. Almost a little too out of control this year at times. And that thunderstorm on Saturday morning....man...that scared the shit out of me. I was in the tent alone....I thought it was never going to stop. Just when I thought it was peaking, the wind would blow even harder. There was absolutely no time between seeing the lightning and hearing the thunder....or should I say feeling the thunder. Intense.
At this past 10,000 lakes festival i got 20gs of Opium for $100 and 5-5mg hydros... and it was wonderful
