Here's the 2nd post of poetry I just write off the top of my head. I stand free, free not from you, but from me. I walked away, this very day, I've gone stray. Free from the grind, free from stress, free from your kind. Away from the hate, away from pain, away from a fate. A fate I would rather not mind.
Wow, I've kinda felt like this before too. Nicely put. The only thing I don't like is the rhyming, but this is just a personal pref., nothing against you or your writing.
Everyone has their taste. Sometimes I rhyme, sometimes I don't.. A lot of times I end up writing because I'm a singer/musician... so a lot my writing ends up in songs..
I like it... but I think the ending needs more of a twist it seems to sound a little dull.... but other then that I think it's great!
