Well I live in the country so it's hardly surprising.

 

Is this a test of how much I've mangled my mechanism over the years through drugs and booze? In that case I've failed.

 

Yeps, I wasn't the only one. Suprised me a bit (and I lived in the country myself as well most of my life!). It got rather crowded after a while. Ah well, you know what they say about what's the problem with Scotland

has it only been one week?
election day and night, i was trying not to jinx the results by dwelling too much on what i had wanted and hoped for them to be.
this obviously didn't work.
mostly then and since, i've been trying to focus away from political topics and on to things i would otherwise enjoy and be doing.
creating and uploading my 'art' on furaffinity, looking for and sharing the kind of post ecopocalyptic imaginary worlds that inspire me.

aside from the big dumb elephant in the room of the elections,
the same things i would otherwise have been doing anyway.

none of them particularly eventful enough to stand out as worth mentioning, or even to particularly recall.

I did not have a good feeling the entire day...Was thinking about people and their guns earlier in the day and oddly enough, rural America...so I was in a bad mood.....I voted....lived my day, and watched some of the election returns...I kind of knew early on Hillary was the loser, *probably when she was at 3 electoral votes, only...I knew) so i turned the channel to not hear trump the winner and I never did....but for only a snippet of it on the John Oliver show last night. I refuse to make it part of my reality any more than I have to.

 

Sleeping! Which is avoiding me right now! Going to be a bummer of a day!
