I want to laugh, but you may actually be serious. I don't know why anybody needs pain. I personally hate it myself...and I've broken a lot of bones...even have a steel plate and 7 screws in my left ankle. Pain will help you build character. Maybe you need that? Apparently I need a LOT of character because I continue to hurt in just all kinds of ways - physically, mentally, sometimes emotionally when I look at stupid videos on fb...and I've cut that out! Anyway, I'd suggest you get an xray of your back. That should give you some idea where to go from there. edit: I also have back pain. I used to go to the chiropractor but since I'm my mother's caretaker 24/7, I haven't been to him.
I know I need to go to the doctor. But, I've giving this new medication I'm on a month before calling in for an appointment. So, I wanted to complain like the little whimp I am before then. Also, I was hoping someone would be like, "Oh, I have the same pain. It might be this... "
Stop laughing at me! And they haven't said anything because they haven't seen me for this issue. What do you think it is?
What part of your back (spinal column) hurts? Does it hurt all the time or only with certain activities? I also don't know jack, but I'm still interested in your answers. Are you sure its your spine and not your kidneys? If it only hurts around your waist line, I'd bet anything its your kidneys. There was some medicine I was put on several years back that made my back/kidney area hurt like 10 hells. Certain types of meds can cause kidney problems is why I say all of that. When I quit with that med my kidney/back pain cleared up.
It's pretty much my whole spine. And I get it every time I eat. It's so weird. I never heard of anything that would cause spinal pain after eating. Usually, the pain and discomfort I experience I have an idea of what it relates to. But, I never heard of anything like this. Maybe it's just the fibromyalgia or gastroparesis that I was diagnosed with. I don't know. I just feel out of it. Not even tired. It's literally just drained. My eyes burn too, like I have been up too long, even though I had just woken up or no matter how much sleep I get. And my left hip/thigh hurts, while my upper back on the right hurts. Nose is stuffy. And I feel like my head is being squeezed and then released. Not a headache. Just a feeling it being squeezed and released. So, I make these stupid expressions every time it happens, and people are like, "Why are you making that expression?. And I'm like "My head is squeezing and releasing" It feels like a pulsing. It sounds weird, but that is how it is. I keep coughing too. Tickle in my throat. Or I'm really hot and sweating. Or cold and shaking. I shake or become limp so much these days, that I drop things or I'm about to drop them. Eating is a chore now, or I just skip it all together. God, if I went to the doctor, am I suppose to tell her all this? It sounds insane. These stupid pills are not working. I'm getting fucking annoyed with my body. I just feel like my nervous system is out of order. It's not pain, It's pinches, pulsing, throbbing. I can't even sleep on my left side anymore. The hip pain is too much. Maybe this is how people get disagnosed with hypochondria. ??? Hey, I will take that answer. I don't care what the answer is. I just want treatment, so it stops. I was hoping I had diabetes. I'm all ready to give myself insulin, so make all this go away. It would make sense with the eating, becuase every food has sugar, and I am sure I eat more than my modest share of sugar. But, I got tested for that, and I was good. I thought I bad an addiction to the other medications I was taking, but my doctor said that was unlikely due to the low dosage. Anyways, end of whine post.
Well, this isn't a competition, Woody. I'm not proud of having my body deteriorate, without knowing why it's turning against me. Though, I'm sorry about your condition. What does degerneated discs do? And pills do work. Pills save lives. Or make life bearable. I just want to know what medical (maybe mental) condition I have, and get treatment. That's all this girl wants. Okay, I want other things, but you know.
I don't think I replied to you, so same post as above. Well, this isn't a competition, Woody. I'm not proud of having my body deteriorate, without knowing why it's turning against me. Abar..have you thought of, getting a new mattress, a memory foam will give better support.and change your pillows! Check your shoes, are the heels worn to one side? The chair you most sit in, does it allow you to slouch? Make an effort to walk straight backed! Do you suffer acid refux? All can be combined to make you quite miserable, but are fixable!
- I have a Tempurpedic bed with a Tempurpedic pillow. Is that a good bed/pillow to have? I got it in 2011, so it's pretty wore down. - I don't wear heels. But, I often wear sneakers, and I know those aren't the best shoes to wear. - I sit on my bed. I can put my bed up, so normally I do that. However, sometimes I grab all my blanked on the bed, and put them all behind my pillow, and my pillow is at the head of the bed. Oh, and I have a bed/laptop desk on my bed. Actually, everyone that has come into my room thinks my setup is pretty clever. I have everything at my reach, and within my comfort. - Oh, I do. I'm 4'8", and my breasts are too large for my body. They aren't big. But, big for me. Anyways, if I don't make an effort to walk with my back straight I end up having back pain. But, the back pain I have now is nothing like I have experienced. - No. I got checked for acid reflux. Also, my chest doesn't hurt. I just have a tickle in my throat, that makes me dry cough.
If this thread is even serious, I found out through x-rays when I had horrible back and neck pain that I have bad arthritis on certain disks.
I experience a miserable condition known as sciatica. It's pretty awful when it's hurting. When it isn't hurting I just experience limited range of motion and/or stiffness in the back. Anyhow, if you don't go to the doctor it might go away on its own. Stranger things have happened, but I think you should go to the doctor because it could be something serious.
I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. The medication I got covers most of the pain, but my left hip still goes numb, my spine hurts, and my right arm tingles. But, I gave up telling people about it, since I got diagnosed already with something. The pain is manageable, anyways. I guess. What really gets me is that I'm tired all the freaky time. So sick of being tired. I'm eating better, though.
