https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rp__vGs3fa8&feature=bz302 i don't follow basketball at all but this looks crazy.
Yeah that's my boy Dwight Howard. He and Gilbert Arenas are my favorite players for making basketball fun again to watch. It gets depressing and stale when you have amazing players like Kobe(I'm a Lakers fan) who are total primmadonnas and hate their teammates. This was the best dunk I've seen since Baron Davis dunked on AK-47's face. He didn't even slam it; he threw the fucking ball in from 5 feet away and 10 feet high!
It was cool but I dont think it shouldve counted. He had some mad dunks tho first one was badass so was one where he bounced it off the back some crazy shit man was a good dunk contest
No offense to the guy. He's good, and I could obviously never do that, but it wasn't even a dunk. Furthermore, MJ did it better (and from the free throw line). Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wqPRdzrjWpU
What Dwight did was better and more difficult than a dunk. A dunk is the easiest shot in the game to make, if you can dunk. The highest-percentage-made for any type of a shot. But Dwight, in mid-air and FULL strength, threw it in there. That ball could've easily ricocet off the rim if it was a cm or two in either direction. No 6'11 can move and dunk as well as Howard. It's like he's a 6'6 who's slender.
I agree. It would have been cooler if he had held that air and dunked it. I mean, its called a dunk contest.
yea... i dont pay attention to B-ball... but i saw the dunk competition and it was by far the best one i have ever seen.... i think the thing that made that "dunk" so great is he had enough air to pitch the basketball into the basket
Yeah, he got high as hell, but didnt go that far. I beleive hes the guy who a week or so before hand asked the NBA if they would raise the hoop to 12 feet during the contest for him but they refused. THAT would have been sick.
If you watch him practicing for the dunk, it makes it seem a lot less impressize. I mean hes 6' 11. When he hangs from the rim is feet are less then 6" off the ground.
