But this is mostly prevalent among black urban girls. Their culture glorifies it.

It's not really a badge of honor for white high school girls to become pregnant, but the thread title made it sound like this happens with the same frequency among all high school girls, and really, it doesn't happen with even close to the same frequency that it does amongst urban black girls.

It is wild how there are so many more young pregnancies.....
There are more teenage girls starting at age 12 up to age 18 getting pregnant than ever!
Babies are raising babies basically..

I left from where i went to school and came back and like everyone i went to school with has a baby! I'm the only one that left school prego/baby free!

I even heard young girls say "oh i want a baby!"
like why??!!!

 

I'm African American(Black) myself , I agree with what your saying now & what you said before.. The highest rate of pregnancy in 'race wise' is among African American(Black) girls. But , I didn't make this thread to show that happens JUST to 'urban black girls' , I made it to show that it happens within all highschools , pregnancy that is and when ANY GIRL , OF ANY RACE becomes pregnant , they're considered "POPULAR" . Hence, the title : "This now makes you popular in HIGH SCHOOL."

 

AND you're totally right weeattoes , little girls & .. teenagers..my age actually do WANT babies , when yet they don't understand the responsibly that comes with it and that you actually have to love , care & be there for the being. SMH.
I think soooo many girls wanting babies now-a-days come from wanting to "fit-in"(/get attention) or lack of love from their parents(so they figure , hmm, Ill just have a baby it'll always love me) ..
