When I want to contribute to some news event or whatever---now these sites demand that I post on facebook. Consequently ---I don't post. Why would this be, I wonder?
Facebook essentially exists to gather as much data about you as possible to sell to advertisers. I assume they are in some kind of partnership with various sites to assist the site with figuring out their target demographic for advertisements.
