What is he exactly doing? I thought the main exciting thing about hotboxing a room or car is that it's full of smoke because of all the smoked weed. He is just burning stuff. This is not what I understood hotboxing was AT ALL I'm sure the secret lies in the 'budder' part.

 

budder, at least when i've seen it, is a super high potency extract that sells for $80/gram through a vendor that i'm familiar with. pretty crazy waste of money if this is the same stuff.

edit - almost 100% sure that this is the stuff i'm talking about.

Yeah that's true. But your bud prices are about the same as ours. Plus you get allot more hash then the USA. I have never seen anything other then home made hash, and you guys get the Moroccan and other foreign hash. So at least you get that, it may take a few more hits then budder, but you will still be stoned.

The term 'Hotboxing' in my day meant when you toke to hard and too frequently on a joint and it gets all hot and soggy or even runs badly down the side.
It's poor weed etiquette usually displayed by novice or greedy tokers.

"A'ight who hotboxed the fucking joint!" wasn't an uncommon phrase. lol

 

Nah, budder refers to a certain consistency of butane hash oil. As far as I understand it's just hash oil that's whipped over a low heat to aerate and remove any potential left over butane. Apparently it's supposed to increase the potency of the final product as well, and it comes out in a consistency that's easier to handle and less sticky.
