Been getting lazy and letting the spidermites get a little too happy. My new controller should help considerably when I start running intake fans to drop temps at night to around 42 degrees F.

Just been really sic and before that was working 6 day weeks. Kinda nice actually. Got a 1000 triplethreat predatormites arriving tomorrow, been sprayin ivory and water in the meantime. So my plants look a little sick from spidey.I hate the borg, gonna start breaking down every cycle bleachin out and startin clean.Fuc dem mums, got plenty of seeds to run with now.

As weird as this seems, Lady bugs whhop ass on the mites in our area. I get them in little mesh bags. 1500 count I think. Anyway, I mix a spray bottle with 1/2 clear soda pop, like Sprite, 7 Up, etc, and 1/2 water. I spray the little guys in the bag putting a sugar coating on their bodies and keeping them from flying away to fast. Then I release them about half an hour or so prior to lights on. I also mist the plants right before I release them so they can get a drink. They work wonders. I have seen a 1500 count destroy mites in a few days. I like to watch em, ya know me, and they are all sitting there eating. It's friggin kool man. Give it a try Tiedie.

 

Hey Im getting ready to put a pocket door in the back bedroom, which will effectively seal off the growroom from the rest of the house.. Think I just might have me a little ladybug festival once things get sealed up with drywall. Good idea!

I did however order me some predator mites. 1,000 triple threat at that.
those should be arriving here today or tomorrow.

I think im going to tear out the paneling im the bedroom today, then i can tuck away all my new wires and the pocket door in some 1/4 inch drywall.paint the walls and put lenolium down on the floor.

Gonna be real nice in there when I start layin mylar.

If ya invest buy beneficials for control,then get a lady bug lure,ya get 3 to a pack for $5,they contain kairomone which mimics the scent of aphids;there favorite food.Once harmful bugs are eaten up the lady bugs will and do leave,these keep em around alot longer.
