This is a very weird thought I had...

tell me what you think...


I looked at the ground and I saw the ants crawling around.. What if the ants dont see us... and they just see the green color from the grass? maybe they dont even know we exsist... so maybe they believe in a higher power killing their souls when it could be just a child squishing its guts........ Maybe its the same for us... the only thing we see is the blue from the sky...and when we die it could be just something burning us with a magnifying glass..

 

sorry but ants don't have the ability to think like us. most animals and such don't. they just exist of of instinct

there are an infinite number of possibilities as to WHY we're here.
seriously, and the only thing we can ever really say is, "don't know!"

reminded me of the ending of men in black,
where the earth spins out into the galaxy,
which spins into countless others to make up the universe,
which joins other universes as marbles
in a game played by aliens in some other reality... which continued on... forever?

You sound just like my husband. He and I were actually having a discussion about that the other evening. I disagree with him because I feel that every living thing has an awareness, that they can think and feel, but he says that everything they do is simply instinct, that it's inbred. I just don't feel that way at all.

 

Ants do not see, they sense sing the antenas on thier heads.

 

Maybe they're just for decoration.

I though ants see by smelling.. So im sure they smell us

 

They see you, try to touch one, they freak and run.

 

Every living thing (and, quite possibly, everything) is conscious, just not in the same way. The things of which an ant, a dolphin, a tree, or a bacterium may need to be aware is probably as irrelevent (relatively speaking) to human consciousness as physics is to a puppy.

We know reality exists beyond the limits of human consciousness. The question is - What, who, where, how and why is it?
