this has been the strangest day...

it started off when i got about 4 hours of sleep.
i had been up all night, randomly here on the hipforums.
eventually i dozed off, and woke up just in time to get ready
and drive to work.

then at work, it was just bizzare.
there was:
-a minivan full of hundreds of individually wrapped rolls of paper towels.
-countless near misses and almost collisions on the roads.
-people calling us up who spoke no english, but were desperately trying to.

after work, i came home and went for a walk.
more strangeness there.
i was just walking down the street, ok? nothing out of the ordinary.
then a car drives by, and the driver honks the horn and waves at me.
the car circled around, and drove by me AGAIN, and again honking and waving.
i responded by looking bewildered.

another drug-deal proposition turned down.
fucking crackheads in this town.
DO I LOOK LIKE I WANT DRUGS??!?!?!
now i know i'm in the wrong part of town.
the only reason someone like me belongs here is to buy drugs.
this whole situation is so depressing.
i can't walk down the street without being accosted by someone
who is bent on illegal acts.

as i continued my walk, things just got more surreal.
i strolled down the sidewalk, and someone began to parallel me,
on the other side of the street...
i got really self conscious, and turned down another street,
where i was not followed.
at that point, dogs from adjacent yards began trying to attack each other
from two sides of a fence. this was happening some 10 feet away from me.
they went at it until i was past them, and then they stopped, and acted
as if nothing had happened...

i began to understand..........

the things that i percieve are apparitions. they are images of real things,
but not the things themselves. the situations i found myself in were
carefully constructed acts or plays, with the intention of showing me something,
or teaching me a lesson. it was time for me to see...

as the sun began to set, the clouds and sky got beautiful,
and i strolled around, taking it all in.
my mind began the slow and deliberate rambling that it often gets into
when i have been awake for too long.

i talked myself out into space, and then came back home for supper.
and having supped, here i am, ready to share these things with you.

Nice interesting day you had... At least you didn't get bored! Well, enjoy your evening, and maybe you should go to sleep earlier, tomorrow might be more normal (lol) don, t take it personally, I'm tired and hardly know what I'm saying

i mean, these things did just happen to me,
and i was not thinking while i was typing.
the words just flowed out, you know?

believe it or not... NO, i was not high.

my mind is just sort of like that all the time...

but i was (and still am) running on a sleep deficit.

as for strange, right now i have the juxtoposition of
opera and rap... one on TV, the other on the radio,

and they DON'T mix at all. pavarotti and some stupid repetitive beat...
hmmm....
