I was talking about what women he liked were we work and he told me that he was asexual and made me promise not to tell anyone or he'd kill me. The guy is a weight lifter that takes meds because he's bipolar.

So I can't help but to hit him with 101 hetro questions during every shift now

 

Steroid abuse?

 

God knows! I even suggested that the drugs he's been taking might be an inhibiting his sexual feelings. He replied that he was asexual at 15 before his phyciatrist prescribed anti pychotics...

 

Would it be inappropriate to suggest he go fuck himself?... you know, work it into a conversation like I do. I asked a press operator to do me a favor after he set up a job and got his machine running- and when he asked me what the favor was I said to go fuck himself.

 

Well no because I'm too curious to why any man would not be attracted to a girl. How can any man not be attracted or have feelings for a girl that is their ideal mate?

This guy atually HAS a gf! He said that he only sleeps with her to satisfy her desires. He said that she is fat and unattractive to his male friends. He is apparently only turned on by personalities and not physical form, WTF?

 

I'd tend to be suspicious of his honesty but inclined not to press the issue to be perfectly honest.

Well I asked him if he'd heard of BangBus, the porno site? He said yeah, I know it. So I asked ow the hell he was aware of it if he didn't like sex. He said his friends like it so obviously he knew about it. So anyway I said if you don't enjoy sex why do you have a gf? He said that he's attracted to her personality and has sex with her to satisfy her. He said that girls are attracted to him because he dosn't perv on them the same way girls like homos.

It's hard for me to comprehend. I have planned how I'm going to seduce at least four of the posters in this thread.

But yeah, I would think he has some other reason for saying this. Perhaps attraction to men, doesn't want to admit it, perhaps suffers from some neurological problem, perhaps is severly depressed.

It's not unconvcivable that he's just really has no intrest in sex. Although If I were to venture a guess, I'd say he's into dude.

 

Nope, he apparently has no sexual urges. I suggested a senario to him ok? I said say your sitting in at a bus stop and your gf is wearing awesome purfume. You can't get enough of her scent. Then she guides your hand under her top so you can caress her full breasts. I grilled him about that too. I said if your asexual then why do't you go out with guys? He said he would only be with a woman. Apparently in his book, asexuals can be hetro asexual, homo asexual or bi asexual WTF? Your either attracted to person or not.

 

I mean, I guess an asexual person could fall in platonic love with a man or a woman, and would want to spend their life with them.

But if you're asexual you're not concerned with the gender of who you'd end up with, other then maybe being hesitant of it because of societal pressures.

Although I still think there are other things going on with him. Not necessarily gay. Maybe he was sexually abused as a tyke, and theres something going on there. Or maybe severe depression. Or maybe like Stink said, a hormonal problem because of steroids. There are a lot of things that could be in play.

From what I've read there is a small community of naturally asexual people too. It's just pretty small and the things I've listed above are causes of aversion to sex, not being truly asexual.

My bets still gay though.

 

why do you care if a co-worker is asexual or not? besides, you can't be sure he wasn't just blowing you off.
